Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

He did not sleep for a long time. When he did he had dreams of Endless Spirals. They were good dreams until the one that woke him. He got up then and went direct from that dream to work. He was well into the new story before the sun came up out of the sea and he did not look up from where he was to see how red the sun was. In the story he waiting for the moons to rise and he felt his dog’s hair rise under his hand as he stroked him to be quite and they both watched and listened as the moon came up and gave them shadows. His arm was around the dog’s neck now and he could feel him shivering. All of the night sounds had stopped. They did not hear the elephants and he did not see her until the dog turned his head and seemed to settle into her. Then the elephant’s shadow covered them and he moved past making no noise at all and they smelled him in the lights wind that came down from the mountain. Veytik came down with the light winds and the smell of the Moon. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can put spirals into your deepest dreams. Elias Fassos & Risk (GR), Soble and Serkan Eles are enjoying their time with elephants between space and light.

A kind of magic power emerges from "Ameno" from the French Band "Era". 
Abstraal was fascinated by this sound and wanted to re-work it. Their wish was to keep the spiritual and medieval atmosphere without modifications on the imaginary vocal to preserve the mystical mind of the music. They re-wrote lead strings and synths, added some deep techno drums to produce a modernized private rendition of that epic tune. They tested it for the first time at ADE in 2019 for Exit Festival live stream set on Be At-TV from Faralda Crane Hotel and later, they played it a lot to kill dancefloors. After receiving several requests, it's time to give it. That story is based on real facts.

He finished the story in four days. He had in it all the pressure that had built while he was writing it and the modest part of him was afraid that it could not possibly be as good as he believed it to be. On 'Made of Wood', his ninth full-length album, Oliver Koletzki embodies the seasoned craftsman, carving out his deeply personal sonic sculptures with a confident, learned hand, while experimenting with a broad range of thrilling ideas and fresh textures. Initially written in Tulum in late 2019, Koletzki completed the album in Berlin aided by numerous live musicians and vocalists, bringing his sketches to life with a focus on wooden instruments like djembes, marimbas, santoors or duduks, thus sculpting a natural sound that's warm in timbre, rich in groove and literally made of wood. 'Copal', the first of two advance EPs, captures the essence of Oliver's approach, teasing the release with its floor-focussed shaker of a title-track and the handpan-driven epic that is 'Cryptozoology'.

Sharing Amazonian culture and its natural beauty through electronic music are the creative motivators of Amazonian producer James Saboia since his EP "Amazonia Encantada", released by the Serbian label The Purr, and which achieved good results on Beatport in early 2020.

Today, he returns to The Purr with his track "Borandá", showing that he continues to deliver a work full of originality, mixing textures recorded by himself through the Amazon jungle, along with synthesizers, typical instruments of the region, and a Brazilian Portuguese vocal to help bring even more Brazilianness to the track.

With a first class EP did Third Person take a step up from MUKKE to Katermukke. First track is Andromeda, a collaboration with Notron which is a smoothly transitioned sound between the two acts. Grabbling synths combined with big horns and and a well tuned groove are bringing ‚Andromeda‘ to life. The follow up is ‚Aurora‘, which turns out to be a sophisticated listening piece under a broken beat pattern. Last off is ‚Return Of The Light‘ a driving tune consisting of a massive sound build and astonishing synth work.

We welcome Dark Matter, a duo from Israel with a distinctive psydark and deep techno sound, close to the ethnic waves that Sudam is used to release. Ethnic Colors is the original mix of this EP and it has a middle east touch with a magnificent female voice and flutes. It's a natural late night track to break out in goosebumps. We can also find 2 remixes, first one from head honcho, Kintar, with a heavyweight mix, an afro ethnic tune with a massive groove that positioned this release into a different direction. Second and last remix made by Ibiza finest Javier Gonzalez, with a deep afro remix, preserving the vibe bringing his touch to end another unique release.

2019 was a massive musical year for Khen. He unleashed multiple projects that will be hammered on dance floors around the globe for the foreseeable future. His 'April Storms' track was featured on Hernan Cattaneo's Balance album, he remixed Marino Canal on Lost & Found and put out one of the best selling Beatort tracks of the summer with 'Where Is Home' alongside Guy Mantzur on Bedrock. 

Most recently, he debuted on Lee Burridge's new TRYBESof imprint and is now back for yet another debut on highly regarded French producer Sébastien Léger's 'Lost Miracle'.

Especially dance music allows us to unify with the flow of the music. When we express the energy it releases within us, by just giving ourselves to it and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of our bodies, we can experience a state of connection, peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We do this by providing a thoughtfully curated space for artists and labels to share their music, organizing events & live-streams and serving as a platform to share ideas on music and the creative process.
