"For Mickael Agarla, aka MAGA, the idea of helping the children happened 3 years ago ago when a friend took him to Fundación Renacimiento, a foundation based in the heart of Mexico City in Tepito that is supporting on average 60 underprivileged children.

This is a NON PROFIT charity cause, and 100% of the revenue will be transferred from Proton’s Children Of The Future label account, directly to Fundación Renacimiento’s Paypal account. Twice a year, Maga’s team will reach out to everyone involved to fully disclose the reports on sales, donations and streaming revenue with full transparency.

MAGA
The purpose of “Children Of The Future || Maga & Friends Compilation, Vol. 2 ”, is to gather a hand picked panel of artists to gift their music and promote the compilation release, in order to encourage listeners and supporters to purchase the album, donate beyond the selling price, or simply stream it and share it with their friends.

The VA will be released in all major selling and streaming platforms, including NFT’s, Beat- port, Traxsource, Apple Music and Bandcamp. Proton is our distributor on this project.

The main difficulties encountered by the children are not simply having no family or parents to look after them, but are a lack of resources, opportunities and even food. MAGA has been focusing his efforts on helping them gain funds to get them the general necessities of life and give them an opportunity and a chance. These children’s lives are never easy and that has been compounded even further because of the COVID 19 crisis. This propelled him further to create a secondary volume to help give a brighter future to these children.

Sónar is proud to offer a premiere of the third single to be released from Perel's second album "Jesus Was An Alien" - due out on Kompakt on 13/05/2022.

'Am Kanal' is the closing track from the album, a slow-motion slice of italo-tinged electronic pop. Perel narrates a walk around an unnamed city in German, as the track builds from a gloomy, pulsing beat to a soaring crescendo of synths, the rain ceasing as daylight breaks through the clouds.

Perel appears at Sónar 2022 on Friday 17th June, going back-to-back to close Sónar by Night with Correspondant label head and partner-in-crime Jennifer Cardini.

It can draw us into the present moment, where just the music exists - unfolding through time, moment by moment. When we let go and merge into the auditory sensations, it takes us on an inner journey. Using this not to escape, but to fully embrace reality as it is, music can help us release tensions and bring balance to our everyday life. 
Especially dance music allows us to unify with the flow of the music. When we express the energy it releases within us, by just giving ourselves to it and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of our bodies, we can experience a state of connection, peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We do this by providing a thoughtfully curated space for artists and labels to share their music, organizing events & live-streams and serving as a platform to share ideas on music and the creative process.
