"Mirage” is anchored by a slow-burning drone while an acid-tinged arpeggio pulses forward, tangled with playful bleeps and warped sonic fragments. It’s a heady track with a dream-like vibe that balances disorientation and groove.

“Truncata” pushes the energy higher, layering sharp 808 percussion and a staccato bassline beneath shifting acid leads. The track’s interwoven melodic patterns play against the rich percussive backdrop, creating a tightly wound rhythm that feels equal parts hypnotic and urgent.

Mirage EP showcases Cereus’ passion for intricate sound design and is equally suited for late-night dance floors and headphone immersion.

About the EP :
Frenchman Antoine Garcin (aka Acumen) will already be a familiar name to Selador fans following his superb Instinct Primaire/ Femme Fatale EP last year as well as his remix for Lonya on The World That Disappears and an appearance on our 5th Showcase Compilation with Ici Ou Allieurs. Be warned though, hes only just getting started! An artist who falls effortlessly into the prolific category, his recent procession of releases for the likes of Last Night On Earth, Einmusika and Non Stop are soon to be followed by an entire album on his own Time Has Changed imprint. In the meantime though, we managed to grab ourselves another piece of the pie and accordingly present 'The Modernist' EP as our second outing of 2018. The 4 tracker consists of a brace of originals coming in two very different Pre and Post varieties whilst remix duties fall to the ever reliable Simon JOBE and French new boys, Yeuz who we predict are destined for big things this year. All for one and one for all.

Final track 'Magna Spe' appears leaner and more restrained, making for a great tool to develop or intensify tension in any part of the set.

About the release
Rebellion der Träumers eleventh release comes from Berlin-based duo Felix Raphael and Yannek Maunz. In their two crisp productions, they showcase their taste for elegant melodies while aptly interweaving them with vocals of a haunting melancholic beauty. The EP is completed by two remixes: One from Miyagi, who pushes the title track 'Certain' slightly more towards the dancefloor and Renga Weh who gives us his own version of 'Monument'.

It's time for some soothing Shunus vocals again! Pandhora, Joep Mencke, Turker, Mel7em, and Hot Oasis deliver the first five remixes of Shunus' Rainburn album.

Pandhora took a chance at remixing ‘Rainburn', giving it some french psychedelic love. Using different chords voicing to support Shunus' vocals. Their take is melodious and laid-back, impeccable for a joyful sunset!

Joep Mencke is known for his melodious and deep approach of electronic music. For his first appearance on Art Vibes, he delivered a stellar progressive remix of ‘Tougher Times'. His extended arrangement is perfect for outdoor festivals and clubs alike, reminiscing of the dutch-melodic era.

Istanbul-based producer and live performer Turker returns to Art Vibes with a remix of ‘Primal'. Building his remix on super groovy drums and a moving chords sequence, Emre's take is a peak-time bomb which every raver can agree on.

Mel7em's vision on ‘Never Felt' carries vibes of old-school Deep House. Detuned and heavily modulated vocals are hypnotic and thumping, hovering over an ethereal and straight four-on-the floor beat.

Egyptian producer and DJ Hot Oasis return to the label with a powerful and dynamic rework of ‘When You Were Young', staying true to his ethnic sound signature. Percussions and ancient instruments collide into a delicate fusion of genres, showing the vocals in a fresh new light.

Especially dance music allows us to unify with the flow of the music. When we express the energy it releases within us, by just giving ourselves to it and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of our bodies, we can experience a state of connection, peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, we feel a connection that resonates within.

With DIT KLINGT JUT we want to express our love for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us.
