69, ying yang, push pull, love hate. In this series I really expose my true love of electronic music, utilizing personally edited tracks, letting you the listener to decide who is the hero and who is the villain.
So grateful to my brothers and sisters at DISTRIKT for having me out at the Belasco Theater in DTLA to play this for them. 
This set is dedicated to my late distrikt brother Mikey Reigle, as thoughts of him drove it's creation.

As I upload this mix I am still at a loss for words.  On November 20, 2019 the greater Tahoe and Reno community lost one of our most treasured resources and our world will never be the same.  Zephyr touched the hearts of everyone that had the privilege of meeting him.  I process, purge and share my emotions through my music and dj sets.  You can say I wear my heart on my sleeve but instead the shirt is 2 cdj's and a mixer.  Creating this set in memory of Zephyr has been one of the most emotional experiences I have had with music in my life.  As I auditioned music I thought of spending time with him in our Camp at Burningman, watching in awe as he played his guitar while rocking out to Prince and watching him dance (better than some of my friends) to deep house when I would play live at Coffee Bar, Squaw and Guitarfish.  I thought of his parents Greg and Moni and what a devastating experience this has been for them as they take it all head on and somehow keep it together.  I thought of the Grandparents,the rest of their families as well as the amazing community coming together to support them and one another in these heartbreaking times.  I thought of all these things and cried, smiled and cried some more and it has left me emotionally drained and helped the healing process begin for me and I hope it can do the same for you.  I feel blessed to live in such a loving community and this community Love's You Zephyr.
