Das aus Südhessen stammende Kollektiv Flowtonix ging ursprünglich aus der Band Rehfuß hervor. Nach diversen Umstrukturierungen und Besetzungswechseln entwickelte sich 2010 eine neue Area mit neuen Einflüssen und einer quasi brandneuen Band – Flowtonix. Ab Anfang 2012 standen sie gemeinsam mit dem Darmstädter Rapper und Singer/Songwriter Diffarent MC auf der Bühne, unterstützt von Sängerin Tink mit Backings und Solo-Songs. Seit Ende 2015 ist Tink die alleinige Sängerin im Vordergrund.

10 Musiker mischen diverse Klangfarben zu einem akustischen Tonic, bestehend aus den Zutaten Drums, Percussions, Bass, Guitars, Keyboards, Brass Section und Vocals. Sie fusionieren ihre kollektiven Energieströme wohldosiert und bringen unterschiedlichste Einflüsse in einem einzigartigen, unverkennbaren Flow zusammen. Garantierte Nebenwirkungen dieser offbeat-dominierten Musik sind ekstatische Tanzeinlagen gepaart mit spontanen Jubelschreien.

Flowtonix verschmelzen Reggae Vibes mit funky Grooves, aus perkussiven Balkan Beats starten unvorhersehbare Dub-Feuerwerke, die Vocals rütteln die alltagsgeplagte Seele wach, und kein Fuß bleibt ruhig stehen, wenn energiegeladene Bläserriffs die Ska-Party ankündigen. Just feel the flow…
