Spirits were high and the bass was six feet deep at Dive Bar Disco’s Dísco de los Muertos when Teriyaki Anarki Saki legend Dee Dee took to the platters at the 11th hour. It was the moment everyone had been dying for. The atmosphere was electric, the drip was deadly, and sweat beaded down the walls at Lucky Schmuck, a dive bar par excellence in Thornbury, Melbourne’s inner north.

What followed was an hour of power with full-tilt, no-holds-barred driving house, pulsating electro sounds, and hypnotic, groovy techno, delivered with Dee Dee’s trademark relentlessness and masterful precision.

What's Up Desert Hearts Family,

I'm super proud to share with you my set from Desert Hearts Festival 2018. This was the first time I've played sunset at the fest so I knew I wanted to capture the funk from the daytime and transition into the dark, trippy weirdness at night. This set builds from groovy house into slammin' tech house into straight up techno. I'm super happy how it turned out and there's even a pretty amazing fuck up in there where my Fiancé of all people trips and pauses the CDJ while dancing behind me on stage haha! It's all part of the madness I suppose!

Anyways, this Desert Hearts Festival was by far my favorite one we've ever had. I felt like we were channeling some kind of sacred energy for those 80 hours on the dance floor. It was truly powerful and everywhere I looked I saw the biggest smiles in every direction with a vibe so thick you could cut it with a knife... I think our DH Family is getting pretty good at this! What am I talkin' about our DH Family is THE BEST at this!

One last thing while I've got you here, I've got a new single out on Dirtybird that Sacha Robotti and I are really proud of. It's a beast of a track called 'Glide' and we'd really appreciate your support buying it on Beatport. We know it has the potential to hit the top of the charts but we really need your help.
