Dj @Olf4 ist 27 Jahre alt und lebt in Wien. Seine Liebe für Musik hat ihn früh auf zahlreiche Dancefloors unterschiedlichster Partys und Festivals gebracht, wodurch er in verschiedenste Arten von elektronischer Musik eintauchen konnte. Seit 4 Jahren zockt er nun selbst gerne und ist Teil der Wiener Musikszene. Während er nachwievor ein offenes Ohr für viele Genres von Dub, Downtempo bis hin zu Techno und Trance hat, fokussiert sich olf derzeit auf House, Deep Tech / Minimal, Acid Sounds und Breaks. Bei seinen Sets stehen für ihn groovige Basslines und Bouncy Sounds im Vordergrund, die einen zugleich entspannten Vibe sowie Energie zum Tanzen kreieren.
Für das Breidenbach Label hat olf ein einstündigen Mix aufgenommen, bei dem er verschiedene Styles von House zusammenbringt. Von Microhouse, Deep Tech, Space Funk, über progressive House, Breaky Stuff, bis hin zu verträumteren Deep House und Indie Dance.

Olf ist Dj and digger in Wien. Durch sein offenes Ohr für verschiedene Genres von elektronischer Musik, ist sein Geschmack vielseitig und geht von Downtempo bis Techno. Seit 5 Jahren konzentriert er sich vor allem auf unterschiedliche Stile von House und mit seinem alter Ego "Discolf" auf Funk. Seine Dj Sets zeichnen sich vor allem durch groovy basslines aus, die mit wobbely und verspielten sounds unterlegt werden. Der Mix für IT WORKS ist voll mit Tracks, die Olf in letzter Zeit gerne aufgelegt hat und reicht von funky House, treibenden Microhouse, bouncy Deep Tech, bis hin zu Breaks und Indie Dance. Viel Spaß.

Olf is a vienna based Dj and digger. Due to his open ear for different genres of electronic music, his taste is quite versatile. For the last 5 years he has been mainly focusing on different styles of driving house music and with his alter ego “discolf” on funk. His Sets are characterized by groovy basslines, hissing hi hats and clapping snares, which are underlaid with wobbly and fussy sounds. The mix for it works is full of tracks that Olf has recently been playing in Vienna, ranging from funky house, driving microhouse, bouncy deep tech, to breaks, spacey sounds and indie dance. Olf is a Vienna-based DJ and passionate record collector. His journey into electronic music began in 2012, dancing to deep house, tech house, and techno at iconic Munich venues like Harry Klein, Bullit, and Rote Sonne.

In 2019, he began DJing himself and started organizing open-air raves during the COVID years in Vienna. While Olf enjoys spinning a wide range of genres - from disco and reggae to Latin-inspired rhythms - his current focus lies in 90s and early 2000s house, alongside fresh underground house productions.

His sets are known for their fusion of groovy, dubby baselines, funky minimalism, and playful acid-infused touches. In 2024, he founded @galapa-grooves, a platform dedicated to his evolving sound.

For the Dive Deep podcast, Olf returns to his electronic roots with a special selection of his favorite deep house tracks. Enjoy the ride.

Hi Leute,

Ich hatte so eine RIESEN Gaudi dieses Jahr auf der Blechsonne spielen zu dürfen. Daher habe ich den 2. Teil meines 2h Sets (20:30:22:30) von der Ignaz Stage daheim nochmal re-recorded. Nachdem ich die erste Stunde 70s und 80s Disco- und AfroFunk aufgelegt habe, ging es dann beim Sonnenuntergang in House über. Das Set wandert durch die verschiedenen House Genre die ich gern spiele. Funky House, Deep House, Classic House und als es dann dunkel & Nacht wurde... Minimal House, Acid und Tech House. Viel Spaß <3
