Since the rebirth 5 years ago, Straight Up Breakbeat releases have showcased the Finnish talent of Fanu, Resound, Dj Sofa, Aeon Four and many more, together with appearances by international artists such as Basic Rhythm, Dead Man's Chest, FFF, Loxy, Skeptical and more.

With the very 1st release on the label going back to 2000 there's soon another reason to celebrate - a full 25 years since the label's inception. To mark both milestones and to look ahead to the next quarter of a century, STATES OF ART highlights the global network of the forward-looking sound.

Released on three vinyl EPs, and followed by an extended digital compilation, the project features the very best in modern jungle & breakbeat driven dnb: DJ SOFA, FANU, FFF, MANTRA, RESOUND, TIM REAPER, AEON FOUR, BASIC RHYTHM, BLOOD TRUST, ESC & MINERAL, JESTA, OUT OF FUEL, PARK SHADOW and many more.

Avalon Rays returns for another ep full of beautiful cinematic drum and bass.
Opening the EP is Departure, a lush and emotive piece that blends sweeping strings and delicate piano with a crisp stepping rhythm. The track builds gracefully, layering melodies into an epic, heartfelt journey.
Next up is Taking It Back, a warm and inviting track featuring rolling drums, catchy hooks, and intertwining melodies that create a comforting, immersive atmosphere.
Silent Desire follows, weaving intricate piano arpeggios, melodic textures, and soothing pads, all brought to life by a spoken vocal that deepens the emotional resonance.
