Featuring two production debuts, WZY2.5 acts as an exciting snapshot of the talented global community surrounding the label and its founder. Woozy explains itself as a label dedicated to dub-heavy sounds, which is also to be heard on this third label release. Here we manoeuvre ourselves through throbbing wubs, dramatic breaks, d&b rollers and halftime gems, each track playful and fun on its own.

Tropicantesimo dà vita a un rituale musicale dilatato nel tempo, attraverso la celebrazione del suono e del ballo. E' una festa nata 10 anni fa al Fanfulla circolo Arci di Roma che negli anni si è trasformata in una vera e propria esperienza di ascolto, condivisione e scoperta fuori dal tempo e dallo spazio, trovando casa tra i dischi e le registrazioni di Pescheria. Nel tempo il collettivo animato dal dj Hugo Sanchez, Lola Kola, Rocco Bartucci, Gabor e Egeeno si è aperto sempre di più a jam estemporanee e collaborazioni con musicisti e dj di varia estrazione e provenienza.
Le ritmiche sono incessanti, il BPM è lento e ipnotico, le voci sono suoni oltre che una canzone e un messaggio. La musica è impastata in maniera organica per liberare energia.
Il frutto di tutto ciò si trova nelle registrazioni raccolte negli anni in un lavoro di produzione musicale.
Tropicantesimo Session 1 è il primo di una serie di EP che anticipano l'uscita dell'album di Tropicantesimo “Gitania”. Contiene tre brani registrati e mixati in Pescheria, laboratorio e casa di Tropicantesimo.

Tropicantesimo is a multisensual project with sound and dance in the center. It keeps within its core the colors of the flowers and the tropical forest, the fruit flavors and the humours of the earth parched by the Sun. But above all, it embodies the sounds and the tribal rhythms of the equatorial zone. Tropicantesimo is a cocktail of sexual hips and
maracas shake in the air. With its sound experiments, floral installations, dreamlike visions of gardens against nature, It is the natural construction of an artificial paradise.
Tropicantesimo has no home, it is located in the known world beyond, between a mythical El Dorado and a run-down place that sells alcohol to under the table during Prohibition era.
Tropicantesimo is a sonic kaleidoscope that multiplies and mixes the sound references. With a network of multiple and inconsistent sound sources, the exoticism of these musical worlds becomes an illusion. Beautiful and evil chimes, white magic and crow's feathers, everything changes in shape and in size, everything is hot and chilling. The unpredictable, the accidental, the wonder, the imminent and the stillness. Tropicantesimo turns itself on, nothing has happened, it was just the sound of noises and rhymes. What it was, where he came from, why.

In my November Challenge, I took on the exciting task of completing a remix of one of my all-time favorite tunes, managing to finish it from start to finish in just one week. I'm thrilled to announce that it's DONE! 😍 I poured my heart and soul into this project, and I genuinely hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it. This particular track, originally crafted by the incredibly talented artist @Youngr, has been a significant source of inspiration for me. His work is not only a testament to musical creativity but also a reminder of the power of dedication and passion. Taking on this challenge has pushed my boundaries and allowed me to experiment with new sounds and techniques, ultimately refining my skills as a musician.
