Following up to his 2020-released sophomore album "Idiosynkrasia", Tim Engelhardt reemerges on Stil vor Talent with his new single, "Firestorm". Putting forth the widescreen poetic vision that has been flowing across his previous releases with an ever-fresh and adventurous approach, this Janus-faced new iteration from Tim fuses two distinct facets of the producer's output - one darker, more subdued, the other out-there and solar. 

Rolling hips with unabashed swagger, "Momentary" paves the way with a balanced mix of martial marching rhythms and floating keyboard melody tinged with a touch of Oriental chords. Slowly but surely hatching into a bespoke big-room churner as bars run by, the track offers moments of graceful escapism while steadily fanning the groove's flames so the fire doesn't go out, ever. Subtle yet grandiose, a piece of masterly executed electronics that definitely lacks no emotional power of agility. 

Draped in opaque shades of neo-classical harmonics, blazing with poignant violins, folk-pop-laced vocals and next-gen synth wizardry, the lead-track "Firestorm" oozes an ambiguous mix of dynamic strength and spiralling melancholy. A suspended moment unmoored by time and space, this is music to shiver and dream your life away to, equipped with the right amount of bass and club-focused assets to have any dance floor zoning out in its own cozy bubble of nostalgia-fuelled resilience

Blazing newcomer Henri Bergmann makes her full EP debut on Watergate Records with the captivating ‘Mind Control’ EP.
 
Building a buzz via impressive releases on her label Automatik, the Londoner has picked up support from everyone from Dixon, Solomun and Maceo Plex. Indeed, mention the Dodi Palese Remix remix of her track ‘Protection’ to any clued-up melodic house fan and you’re likely to be met with a blissed-out response, so beloved was the cut, which also ended up in Tale of Clubs’ top 10 for 2021.
 
Her maiden voyage on the Oberbaumbrücke home label is a tour de force of chugging house that encompasses new wave, electro and progressive elements, with a strong cast of collaborators and remixes along the way.
 
Pushing herself creatively during the lockdown, this EP is the first time we’ve heard Henri utilise her voice on her own productions, and the resulting work is a treat. The title track is a team-up with Biesmans who brings his distinct retro sound signature to the track, while Henri’s vox elevates it to another level. ‘Our Time Has Come’ is a punchy dancefloor gem propelled by her own vocals and a classy psychedelic synth line. ‘We Just Keep On Going’ brings bags of robotic soul to the table, as Henri’s husband Wennink takes to the vocoder, alongside a mystical lead melody. Stephan Jolk returns to the label following his excellent ‘Freedom’ EP in April, re-working ‘Mind Control’ into a muscular weapon. Meanwhile Echonomist, who is notable for his appearance on WhoMadeWho’s Watergate 26 compilation, also takes his hand to the title track, re-fashioning it into a tough bass-driven electro cut that’s beautiful and brain-scrambling in equal doses.

Italian artist Lost in Nirāi is up next releasing an EP on Diynamic. His four tracker „A Day of Sun“ also contains two features with Nigeria-born, Ireland-based vocalist Wisdom.

Opening track „God is the Reason“ is a deep but dreamy melodic house anthem that features the contemplative words of Wisdom and a beautiful children’s choir, made for eyes-closed and arms-up moments on the next music festival.

„Need Your Love“, also featuring Wisdom on vocals, is a more dramatic, but still hopeful piece. Driving percussions and the almost hypnotic chants are sure to make you move.

Title track „A Day of Sun“ is a more sombre affair, with elegiac string arrangements and serene arpeggios, building up to a piano break where time almost stands still.

And finally „Time Machine“, a punchy peak time Indie Dance track that keeps on building and adding new elements with finesse. Here the hero of the story manages to escape the collapsing structure and outrun their pursuers, with the treasure safely in their hands.

Grigoré is bringing his first full EP to Diynamic titled „Modern Tranz Opera“ - four tracks of full force and beautiful pathos.
In the opening track „Peace Originates“, where Grigoré & SØNIN create a melancholic adaption of early rave vibes. Blissful sound for end-of-festival eyes-closed moments on the
dance floor.

„Aphrodite Tells Truth“, with it's epic synth horns, hypnotic bass guitar and ethereal vocal,
takes you straight to the night club opera.

„Hercules Looks Into The Eyes“ is a uplifting club ballad which swings back and forth
between hope feeling and levitation.
And finally „Antique Moon“ tells a story without words, a Greek drama in three acts that takes you in and leaves you touched by its end.
