Israeli DJ and Tel Aviv-based producer Adam Ten is coming to Diynamic with „Rollercoaster TLV“, and what the EP title promises, you can expect: suspenseful build-ups followed by ravaging releases, laced with unforeseen musical surprises.

The power of opening track „Lego“ a collaboration with Mita Gami lies in its simplicity. A bold no-frills approach, slowly creating tension where you feel like you could hear a needle drop, and then absolutely culminating in its lead synth melody, like the rollercoaster that slowly approaches its highest point and is about to drop into an ecstatic abyss.

Voyeur Music is back with a bumper 15-track collection that mixes up new and exclusive music from in-house artists, big names like DJ Gregory and fresh talents all carefully A&Red by the label head, Fabrice Dayan. This vibrant new collection is packed with red hot tracks that have been getting high-profile plays in Ibiza all summer, and now they now come together on one essential collection that drops when the season ends. Amongst the many standout tracks is Dayan's 'The Power of Now.' It is a cinematic set opener inspired by the introspection of the pandemic years. Its piano break expresses doubt but then turns to hope with a high-energy “keep-going” feeling. After the uplifting '6AM' from Made in TLV it is the epic return of DJ Gregory after years of silence. The legendary house artist serves up a fantastically fat edit of 'Gandhi' from Slash & Doppe which has already been getting hammered by Blondish and is an instant classic. Crosstown Rebels’ sub-label Rebellion returns with a fourth instalment of its ongoing SOULS series, with fresh tracks from a selection of exciting, up-and-coming talent.
Curated by label head Damian Lazarus, Rebellion’s excellent SOULS series has always transcended sounds and scenes to dig deep into the most forward-thinking new electronic niches. It has a deeply embedded spiritual theme, like most projects with which Lazarus is associated, and this volume again connects the dots between a number of innovative producers from across the globe.
Belgrade and Mykonos-based duo MĪMĪ x FY open up with ‘Robotic Mode’, linking with Estray for a silky synth- laced house cut that goes deep into a cosmic future. The deft chords, spoken words and sci-fi signifiers enrich the groove perfectly. Brazil's Vini Pistori is next with ‘Hypnotized’, a scintillating fusion of pixelated melodies and bright, starry-eyed chords over a drawn-out and languid groove that is perfect for the late-night hours.
Frequent collaborators MILI and Hoomance then step up with ‘Casa Mama’, a playful cut with a carnival feel thanks to the characterful horns which bounce about over the crisp drums. It's a track full of soul and sunshine that captures the joy of dancing outdoors. OMRI closes things with the rubbery bass and skewed synth futurism of his off-grid percussive masterclass, 'Funk Rhythm.’

The morning was crisp and clear. The Hague was only just beginning to stir, but someone had already found their rhythm. Plate had a list of addresses saved in his notes — potential spots for their future vinyl store. Real plans, of course, called for a bit of luck and beautiful views: linden trees whispering along the canals, a sea breeze full of encouragement, distant seagull calls, and the soft clang of trams.

First stop: Denneweg — a street that felt like a page from a design magazine, nothing but showrooms, galleries, antiques, and wine. A realtor in a light shirt was already waiting by the door of a former barbershop: a clean rectangular space with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Great foot traffic. A storefront that seemed to come alive in front of the observer’s eyes. Plate could already hear the music playing, see visitors flipping through records in search of something unique.

Next came Papestraat — louder, and somehow closer to heart. A three-story building next to the city’s best coffee spot. Until recently, it had housed a small shop of handmade goods. It was the kind of place you could work, drink tea, and build a little corner lined with shelves and turntables in. The classic Dutch staircase alone was enough to inspire joy.

The day hadn’t gone in vain. Plate came home with photos of two key locations. One looked like an album cover, the other like a B-side you want to play over and over again. Needle smiled at what she saw. Somewhere between those two streets, their next chapter was quietly going underway.
