Emerging onto the global electronic music scene, French duo Himszlow mark their arrival with an enchanting EP titled "Phenomenon," now available on the esteemed Dear Deer Music label. The "Phenomenon" EP comprises two original tracks that beautifully capture Himszlow's signature style. In 2022, Himszlow underwent a transformative shift as Ben, one half of the duo, fully integrated Antoine, his former DJ partner, into the creative process. From initially collaborating as arrangers on multiple projects, they have now embraced a complete synthesis of their musical sensibilities. Today, as a powerful duo, Himszlow embarks on an exciting journey to an elevated realm of production that transcends artistic boundaries. "Phenomenon" EP is a testament to Himszlow's ability to craft compelling narratives through their music. It's an invitation to explore their sonic world, where the organic and melodic converge in harmonious synergy. Alex Metric & Ten Ven’s „Transmission 1“ is their first release on Diynamic, although their productions are not unheard of in the label’s orbit as Solomun has been supporting them heavily in his sets throughout recent months.

Opening track “The Q”, much like the closing track “Plates”, are reminiscent of old UK garage raves with a hint of acid. Minuscule shifts in the pitch give that certain cassette-nostalgia, transporting the listener back to the early 90s.

The centre piece titled “Nebula” is a driving melodic deep house tune with a hefty break that brings things to a halt right at its centre, only to return with the catchy riff that is its main feature.
