For Getting Deeper's 71st podcast, Mark Tarmonea has taken us back to our soulful roots. It's really refreshing to go back to something more melodic and warm after a long stretch of deep, spacey sounds. What I particularly love about Mark's set is his choice of tracks and how he has strung them together to create a wonderful progression. 

The set begins with lush, rooftop tracks. The vibe is of open air, sunny rooftop sessions with a cozy and comforting functionality. What happens next is a gradual blooming of grandiose stretches and soaring melodies... and boom, that's when the set opens up into hypnotic beats and intoxicating... almost enchanting synths. 

This is one of the few sets on Getting Deeper that are absolutely banging for most kinds of dancefloors. Moving to the set is a direct result of beautiful and heady trips that are so easy to get lost into. I love it. I love how easy it is to lose yourself to this set. 

We hope that the set does the same to you as it does to us. 

Thank you Mark for such a heartwarming set. It's absolutely lovely.

Ich sitze lachend auf meinem Schlitten und sehe zu wie die Welt an mir vorbeirast. Alles bewegt sich so schnell, dass ich nur Schemen und Umrisse erkennen kann. Die weitestgehend konstante Fahrtgeschwindigkeit versetzt mich in eine Art Trancezustand. Zeitweise reißen mich kleine Anomalien im Flow wieder in die Realität zurück und ich versuche mich wieder auf meine Mission zu fokussieren. 
Meine Name ist Rupert und ich bin zuständig für die Organisation, Führung und das richtige Timing der Weihnachtseinheit: „Geschenke auf Knopfdruck“.
Mein Gefährt wird von insgesamt vier Rentieren gezogen, die allesamt eine rote Nase und jeweils ein paar lange Schwingen besitzen. Mal fliegen meine gehörnten Begleiter über tiefe und große Wälder, dann wieder über schier endlose Wassermassen. Wir passieren riesengroße Städte mit einem Wimpernschlag und ganze Länder innerhalb von wenigen Momenten.
Die liebevoll verpackten Geschenke türmen sich hinter mir auf dem Schlitten auf. Kleine und flinke Wichtel sorgen dafür, dass jeder auch das bekommt, was er sich gewünscht hat. In Scharen flattern und fliegen die kleinen grünen Männchen umher. Zerren und ziehen die richtigen Pakete und Päckchen aus dem Geschenkberg und bringen die Gaben den sehnsüchtig wartenden Kindern. Besonders weil die Kleinen Weihnachten so lieben und unheimlich gerne Geschenke öffnen, ist es umso wichtiger, dass alle erfüllten Wünsche rechtzeitig ihren Empfänger erreichen. Damit jeder unbeschwert das Weihnachtsfest feiern kann, müssen wir unsere Aufgabe sorgfältig erledigen. Deshalb lasse ich noch einmal meine Peitsche aus Elfenhaar schnalzen und fliege mit meinem ganzen Gepäck und Gespann und einem wohligen Lachen in der Kehle der untergehenden Sonne entgegen.

Der KataHaifisch Mix #35 by the doubljuh erschien vor etwas mehr als drei Jahren auf unserem Channel und genießt völlig zurecht einen gewissen Kultstatus. Das Set wurde häufiger angehört als jeder andere Mix bei uns und bildet den glorreichen Abschluss der ersten Phase KataHaifisch Podcasts. 
Für die Nummer 124 am 26. Dezember hat unser guter Freund und langjähriger Weggefährte Herzblut, Leidenschaft und seine natürliche Begabung spielen lassen. Für das Comeback auf KataHaifisch hat the doubljuh sämtliche seiner Schmuckschatullen nach den passenden Goldstücken durchforstet und diese liebevoll zusammengefügt. Das Ergebnis ist ein stimmiges Set mit dem richtigen Vibe für die Feiertage. Auf ein weiteres Mal heißen wir the doubljuh ganz herzlich Willkommen und wünschen Euch viel Spaß mit diesem Weihnachtsgeschenk <3
