Berlin based 4-piece GHEIST are releasing their first Diynamic record, fittingly titled “Arrival”.

The 2-track EP showcases their signature modern Breakbeat sound, studded with bold Future Pop elements and their catchy modulated vocals, that feels like the reflection of the summer sun on the afternoon ocean. 

GHEIST manage once again to create a record which sets them apart in today’s musical landscape. It is a perfect mirror to their versatile live-hybrid performances, that each member of the collective individually contributes to, creating the result that you can hear on “Arrival”.

Hailing from the city of Valencia, DJ / producer Edu Imbernon teams up with fellow Spaniards Los Suruba to deliver their brand new EP, 'Balear', forthcoming on Last Night On Earth. With a number of previous collaborations under their belt, the trio once again seamlessly combine emotive, melodic Techno sounds with spiritual undertones and tribal desert vibes. Hyenah and Fell Reis then offer their hand remixing EP title track 'Balear' and 'Mehari' respectively, to perfectly complete the package.

Squire is pushing all the right buttons just now, as Mobilee welcome him back with ‘Birdie’.

This new two-tracker, coming swiftly after his Einmusika hit ‘The Hidden’, stays true to his signature melodic yet beat-driven vibe, lockdown having ironically released a flow of exciting new work as well as livestreams from the Barcelona DJ/producer who is constantly evolving. 

‘Birdie’: a pounding, relentlessly building chord riff with lots of percussion gets your body moving and your mind waiting for more, which arrives in style in the form of a lyrical male vocal swooping from melody to reverb-heavy portentous depths in several breakdowns, along with twanging strings and trilling organ notes. An almost mythical heft to the title track keeps you hooked throughout. 

‘Hundred Falls’ foregrounds a strong bass riff and beat, as a subtle synth melody plays through them. The male vocal interludes on this track are assertive, sometimes almost harsh, and knowing, yearning; melancholy with an edge. A wall of intriguing sound with a single sustained breakdown ramping up the urgency.

Tastemakers rate Squire’s tracks and so do listeners, this EP will only establish him further, added to which he launches his own label ‘Ànims’ very soon. Watch this space…

We start the new year with the first edition of mixed ep series. "Collage 01" features three calm and moody tracks.

"You" by Tobi Kramer is emotional yet happy and brings some festival vibes to the dark season.

"No Romance" by Carlo Whale is dreamy and has Carlo's signature sound with a repeating and catchy main melody.

"Confusion" by Narik has a laid-back groove next to floating pad's and reverberant stabs.

Founded in 2006 by Solomun and Adriano Trolio in Hamburg, nowadays undeniably amongst the hottest imprints worldwide: Diynamic Showcase events all around the globe, Diynamic Festivals in Amsterdam, Berlin and Brazil, two own weekly residencies on Ibiza including the infamous “Solomun +1” events at legendary night club Pacha and the Diynamic Outdoor event series as well as own stages at major music festivals everywhere.
