El dúo berlinés GHEIST regresa con el Searching Places (Remix EP) y aquí estrenamos la toma más cinemática del paquete: el Short Remix de Mark Hoffen. El productor francés destila el original hasta un núcleo de melodic house emocional y tensado, donde un bajo palpitante sostiene pads granulares y un lead en espiral que entra y sale como neón bajo lluvia. Sin artificio: arquitectura directa, break de aire frío y un drop limpio que sube la temperatura sin perder elegancia. Es material para club y para autopista de madrugada; compacto, mezclable y con ese peso “fantasmal” que deja huella cuando el resto del set baja las luces.

Berlin’s live-electronic visionaries GHEIST join forces with Ukraine’s melodic house prodigy 8Kays for Flowers & Guns, a collaboration that blurs the lines between indie dance and progressive house. Following GHEIST’s Searching Places EP, which drew acclaim for its original tracks and remixes from Mark Hoffen, Oliver Koletzki, and Unfazed, this partnership marks a new chapter of artistic synergy.

"This track is the most special one for me so far," shares 8Kays. "It was born from hearing a spectacular and profound idea from GHEIST, which immediately inspired me to start working on it, incorporating a live piano performance and the arrangement I wanted to embrace with the sound I produced. Later, GHEIST shaped the project into the final version we hear today: a tender and emotionally deep piece of music that I am truly grateful to be part of."

Flowers & Guns merges GHEIST’s textured, dramaturgically rich electronic approach with 8Kays’ signature melodic depth and eloborate arrangements, weaving shimmering synths, rounded basslines, and live piano into a soundscape both expansive and intimate. Born and raised in the heart of the Netherlands, under the wings of my proud Macedonian mother and hard-working Dutch father. I grew up surrounded by electronic music from the '90s, which laid the foundation for my love of sound.

Since around 2010, I’ve been deeply inspired by House and Techno - especially the melodic side. I also have a strong love for Latin and Afro influences. Think of artists like Paul Kalkbrenner, Oliver Schories, Oliver Koletzki, Joris Voorn, Solomun, Worakls, Boris Brejcha, Dominik Eulberg, Henrik Schwarz, Kölsch, Bicep, Monkey Safari, &ME, Tale of Us, Adriatique, Eric Prydz, Nic Fanciulli, Andhim, Eelke Kleijn, and many more.

Music has always been at the center of my life - whether attending festivals, discovering new sounds, or exploring the scene. In 2024, I decided to take things further and started my journey as a DJ.

In my live sets, I’ll take you on a journey, blending a bright future with the richness of the past. I’m always searching for the perfect energy and emotion. Whether it’s Afro House, Deep House or Techno, my main goal is to create a positive vibe and help you lose track of time.

I got a day job by mistake.  I'd rather spin music.

Deckster discovered Dance Music very early, attracted to the nearby situated famous Dutch nightclubs like "Waakzaamheid", IT Amsterdam and Roxy.  He is addicted to music and plays several instruments, but never started playing the decks until mid 2020. His broad taste in music and search for out-of-ordinary tracks give him a unique sound and vibe.

He is in the game for the fun and joy of sharing music and vibe.  As music is tightly bond to atmosphere, place and time, the music varies from the most relaxed and chill sounds to some solid techno beats! 
His heart goes out to organic and downtempo progressive tunes, with a solid base in Bass, Drums and Percussion. Hypnotic and binding tunes with an ever existing positive vibe.

Jen van Banks nutzte den pandemiebedingten Hausarrest, um ihren Traum vom DJing zu verwirklichen. Mit großem Erfolg: Sie gewann schnell eine wachsende Online-Community und beeindruckte auch etablierte Kollektive wie z.B. den Macher des "Das Kind in dir"-Podcast Daniel alias Müdebär. Dies führte zu aktuell über 90.000 Streams und 700 Followern auf SoundCloud. Live aufgelegt hat Jen unter anderem beim CSD Dresden und gab 2022 ihren ersten Clubgig im Electric Ballroom. Seit 2023 gehört sie zu deren Crew. 

Jen verfügt über eine tiefgründige Wahrnehmung ihrer Umgebung und Mitmenschen. Oft ist sie als stille Beobachterin unterwegs, besitzt aber auch eine lebhafte Seite.
