Spring 2016 saw the release of Stimming’s fourth full length album “Alpe Lusia”, which was named after a remote little alpine hut in northern Italy, in which he had secluded himself to work on his LP for a full month, all by himself.  From the title track of his LP emanates his following release on Diynamic, the Alpe Lusia Remixes, and the remixing protagonists are none other than Robag Wruhme, long time collaborateurs Acid Pauli & NU and last but not least Solomun.   

First off is Pampa mainstay Robag Wruhme, whose take on Stimming’s “Alpe Lusia” starts off as a dark and brooding tech house gem. Later, when you have made your way through its rough outer shell, peeling off the hard claps, it shows its soft core, with gentle pads caressing the arrangement.  

Acid Pauli & NU deliver a deep and driving, almost haunting reinterpretation of “Alpe Lusia", with a thumping bass and ethereal vocals that are hypnotizing.  

Finally, Solomun adds a remix that reminds you of the rabbit hole in Alice's Wonderland: the longer you dig, the deeper you get, and the more fantastic is what you experienece.

The original version is the only track on the album without a real groove, which is why Stimming chose precisely this track to be remixed - to see what the others would do about that. Now it is fair to say that all three remixes have succeeded at this task.

Diynamic has constantly been an underground electronic music label on the rise. The motto: Do It Yourself. Founded in 2006 by Solomun and Adriano Trolio in Hamburg, nowadays undeniably amongst the hottest imprints worldwide: Diynamic Showcase events all around the globe, Diynamic Festivals in Amsterdam, Berlin and Brazil, two own weekly residencies on Ibiza including the infamous “Solomun +1” events at legendary night club Pacha and the Diynamic Outdoor event series as well as own stages at major music festivals everywhere.

Born in Cologne, Thales Boutroumlis has been interested in various musical styles since his early childhood. Inspired by his parents’ musical tastes, which range from Radiohead to Sascha Funke to Hans Nieswandt, Thales found his way to electronic music.

At the age of 10, Thales began to play with software for music production and DJing, always looking up to his father, who was also a musician, and driven by the motivation to establish music as an emotional medium of his own and to learn the associated craft of producing and DJing.

As part of the new, young culture of producers who use different elements from different genres in a refreshing way, Thales Boutroumlis has released his first tracks on the labels Traum Schallplatten, Einmusika and Steve Bug’s Poker Flat and is well on his way to securing his place in the electronic music world.
