Dear stranger or friend who has come to my soundcloud, <3
 
I don't know what brought you here if you're reading this, but I felt the need to share if you'd like to listen in words alone this time...First, thank you for thinking of me (hopefully good thoughts) and visiting my soundcloud page. It has been a long while since I have publically shared much as this artist self of mine, "Angela Werner". I know I wrote some trying of closure before I left being active on social media in maybe circa 2014, but I don't remember exactly what all I said. Many waves have passed since and many waves still needing to settle. I don't know who has been here recently, (from the stats it's been pretty quiet), but I do know, you never know! ;P 
I left these songs up here for years from my generous heart, but I finally felt the need and had the opportunity to take them down. 
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart if you ever listened to my music in the past, bought or downloaded my songs I've released, or if you simply ever messaged me loving support of me expressing myself through music. I hope you know it has meant more than you know - the journey it was to share my music and the knowing it was shared with the intent for hopefully any bit of therapy for you as it was for me, was a humbling, joyous and learning experience to say the least. 
Unfortunately, at this time, I have come to a point in life of experiencing too great of pain from violation of my boundaries of my personhood in person and online to feel comfortable sharing so much of my soul with more listeners without much restitution. The songs from my EP especially bring up more bad memories than good. I am currently working on my complex healing journey, as I have been, and I hope to share more one day in a way that feels safe for me, because I love music and the healing power it provides especially collectively and in these times. But music is not my identity, and I have worked very hard to get to this place of remembering and needing a lot of shifting in my relationship to it, awareness of how it like so many things can become an idol. I am a child of God first and foremost and am in time and space to more fully reground in that and my inherent value as a human being. To reiterate and close, my music will no longer be available here or any online platform for an indefinite period.

And thank you for any prayers you've already prayed - I feel in my heart without people even telling me, many have prayed for me and it means so much as Jesus is my #1 ))
