185 Sunshine (bigLARGE VIP) 2023

This was an unexpectedly fun session. After a hefty work week I was feeling a little unprepared on Saturday and decided to sort of dig in to organize and analyze all the new music and promos and strategize on the direction this session was gonna take. A lot of the new stuff had that summer soul feel to it so I just let that be the guiding vibe. First hour was soulful feelgood lush liquid vibes for the most part. Things got a little darker and driving after the midpoint before settling into a stripped dark minimal roller type groove. Last 30 minutes I threw in a little jungle before bringing things down into some futuristic R&B vocal style liquid towards the end. Great turnout and interaction in the chat this week (We even had a Hype Train!). Really enjoyed myself. Much love to the LLL family 🖤

Hi guys,
   Having lived in Florida for two years now, I have been lucky to meet some AMAZING people. I was lucky to meet this weeks guest (and one of these amazing people) when I went to play Renegade Sound in Gainesville a few moths ago. Please welcome CEDDIMO. He is one of two resident DJ's at Renegade Sound,  Darcii and Ced...They're on to something special. The attention to the craft of dj'ing and a deep passion for our music is held in high regard and it shows. I was fucking floored by his set. He ripped the roof straight off of that bitch. Then I met him after and he's just the sweetest kid. Friendly, welcoming, chill.. and a proper junglist to top it off. I'm so happy  to share this one with you all. Please enjoy. I'll see you next week.

"All things considered, getting all of this out with music just feels right? Like I can use the album to point to it to explain how I feel instead of having to think about [it] all the time, but at the very least, I want it to be the best apology I can give to the people who deserve it (even if they'll never hear it). And at a time where I can genuinely feel my brain starting to melt and the memories start to fade in the midst of everything, it'll be a way to go from faking some semblance of happiness all the time to at least trying to give myself the hugs and self-love I need to keep going, if only because I can't ask for forgiveness from the people I've hurt." -me, 4/21/2025.

"fleeting memories; feigning happiness" is a personal journey for me that follows, among other things, the course of a romantic relationship, the stages of grief that came with it, and my understanding of my eventual diagnosis of bipolar II disorder. I suppose I'll leave it at that.
