One of my favorite parts of this show is getting to write everyones introduction. This one is special to me because she was one of our first regular listeners. In the beginning of this little experiment, I had no idea what people outside of my small friend group thought of the show, had no idea if it was resonating with anyone, I was just putting it out every week hoping someone out there liked it. This weeks guest let me know she was listening. It meant A LOT to me..it still does. After chatting with her off and on and finding out she was a DJ herself, I asked if she'd like to have her own episode of AJS. To my delight she said yes. Then she sent a mix that blew me away. For real, I was shook! I was like this kid?! Is mixing like this?! It was such an awesome surprise. I was on the socials the other day when I came across a flyer with NEONMYST on it! Opening for Dieselboy and Downlink no less. NEON is about to make quite an impact with a lot of people real soon and we couldn't be happier to host her mix here at AJS.
