Critycal Dub - Camouflage - Faces Of Jungle

There are a few DJ's in the DC dnb community that I always enjoyed listening to. This weeks guest is one of them. She's been a local legend since the early 2000's and we couldn't be happier to host her mix here at AJS! Please welcome, Jungle Jessi. Should you find yourself in the DC/Metro area this summer you can find her playing Flash June 7th alongside Kiljoy (from Concord Dawn), Electric Jungle on June 14th, alongside Echo Brown and Jaybee and Joana O and SummerJam on June 22nd alongside DJ Icey, Dali and a whole slew of other old school folks. 
Jungle Jessi first cut her teeth on the turntables back in 2002 and has been shaking up dance floors ever since. For more than two decades Jessi has brought the drum and bass sound to the DC area and beyond, with a diverse collection of music spanning the full spectrum of the genre. Whether it’s an old-school jungle mash-up, or a lesson in future beats, Jungle Jessi is sure to bring a soundtrack that is guaranteed to make you move.

I had the honor of opening for Rudimental on November 22nd at Axis Club in Toronto, courtesy of Embrace Presents. It was an incredible experience setting the tone for the night with a 90-minute journey through UK Garage, Dubstep, and Drum & Bass. While it may not be my best technical set, I thoroughly enjoyed crafting the vibes and taking the crowd on a musical adventure. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a memorable evening!
