Sound quality isn't tremendous, but there's a lot of late '80s/early '90s techno classics in this segment of a 4 1/2 hour set (I don't have the full thing unfortunately.) I know a lot of the tracks, but not all, so I'll be glad to tell anyone what a track is if I know it, and would be grateful of anyone filling in any gaps in my knowledge!

Definitely one of my favorite sets as of recent, I had the opportunity to bring the sun down at Nowadays Nonstop, to a crowd so enmeshed in a thinning sunny haze of a Sunday afternoon. It felt like the first day of spring, and it was so sweaty and so sexy.

Honey Bun is a multidisciplinary afro-futurist artist and DJ whose work aims to reclaim the black past, affirm the black present, and demand the black future. Born in NYC, raised in Texas, and now based in Brooklyn, she aims to seamlessly blend her east coast roots with her southern upbringing. As a resident of The Lot Radio, Honey Bun hosts her monthly show, BUNTOPIA, captivating listeners with a distinctive mix designed to "sonically journey through the cosmos." The show also features guest DJs, each bringing their own interstellar interpretation to the theme. The sounds of BUNTOPIA, extend into a party night often hosted by intimate NYC clubs, Le Bain and Mood Ring. She is the co-founder of beloved party series, Soul Connection, along with DJ, Lovie. Together, they craft an immersive atmosphere filled with soulful house, R&B, funk, and disco music, bouncing between renowned Brooklyn clubs, Good Room and Nowadays. Honey Bun is also a regular at Mansions, a fusion of a natural wine bar and nightclub. Here, she orchestrates bi-monthly all-night sets where she effortlessly buzzes through genre, crafting 6-hour mixes that are uniquely her own.
