The Pali Gap (Sanj Pali) is from South London, currently working with producer Shuta Shinoda (Hot Chip, Vampire Weekend, Ghost Poet and Spiritualized). 

His music can be described as pop, dance, indie. Influenced by the likes of Tom Vek , Darwin Deez , Beck , and Gotye, Sanj says “I’ve always had a fascination for alternative solo acts and the minimalism which goes with it” (XNOIZE MAGAZINE), and also cites LCD Soundsystem, Nirvana and Oasis as a major influence. 

Born in Clapham (South London), Sanj Pali is of half-Guyanese and half-Mauritian descent.

Nyl has been involved in the KL house music scene since 2008.

A down-to-earth, soft-spoken and yet energetic, are words best describe Nyl’s personality.
Is he satisfied with what he has achieved so far?
With his humble voice he answered, “I have a long way to go and a lot more to learn and explore, especially the house music scene abroad”.

He paused for few seconds and continued with a smile on his face, “.... I don’t know whether this is possible or not but my dream is to bring back the house music genre into KL dance music scene like how it used to be back in the late 90’s...”

Biography

Skewed recordings inc. hails from the East Midlands in the United Kingdom.    First introduced to Electronic Dance Music in the Early 1980's via early Electro / Breakdance and also early UK electro synth pop music by groups such as New Order, The Human League, Gary Numan and Depeche Mode.   

In the early 1990's the local club scene in the East Midlands was purely focused on US / UK House and Garage as pioneered by local superclub 'Venus'.  Early club nights were attended included Venus, Renaissance, Venue 44, Deluxe, Progress and local DIY nights such as Bounce and also was a regular DJ playing Joshua Brooks, The Paradise Factory and Home nightclubs in Manchester...and also attended club nights such The Hacienda, Home, Megadog, Bugged out...  This period massively influenced the 'old skool' garage / house and also the Big Beat and Early Hardcore Rave sound which influence productions with a modern twist..  
Skewed recordings inc. first started producing and remixing tracks aged 16 (in the early 1990's), tutored in the basics using an Atari ST Cubase Version 1, Kurzweil K2000 and Roland W30 sampling Keyboard (with a massive 7 secs per channel! x 2 channels) and a 24 track mixing desk and  an alesis midiverb. Early productions were restricted to a few tracks produced in a friends studio with no official releases. Skewed recordings inc. more recently started learning music production again as a hobby which has steadily developed into an obsession.

Skewed recordings inc. current sound is a mixture of Soulful House, Big Beat,  and lounge room Chillout, perfectly blended to give a futuristic sound with a distinct nod to the past and of course always a just little bit wonky roy....;-)
