C-Squared, a.k.a. Chris C., has been in love with trance ever since he was 13-years old. The first album he ever purchased was Deep Trance, mixed by one of Europe’s biggest producers at the time, Misja Helsloot. He then discovered Above & Beyond and their Anjunabeats, and Trance Around the World productions, as well as Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance productions. Ever since, C-Squared taught himself how to DJ and produced his own mixes for listening pleasure and pure fun. And although his life aspirations are in a different industry, C-Squared wouldn’t mind if his efforts in DJing and production landed him some where big.

C-Squared’s first live gig took place at his preparatory school where nearly the entire student body complained about how boring the school dances were. Utilizing the resources offered by his school, C-Squared held his first ever live event as a school-wide weekend rave event and it immediately took off. Five performances took place during his tenure at his school, where he bettered his skills as a DJ in trance and house. The performances later led to a senior graduation award for dedication to technical theater and a legacy that still continues at the school with younger students carrying on the rave events.
