Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Ricardo Montero has been a DJ for over 20 years. His journey began in the 90s at New York’s legendary Palladium nightclub, where he was captivated by the DJs’ ability to move the crowd with unforgettable sounds of techno and house. Determined to master the art himself, Ricardo practiced relentlessly, eventually landing gigs across New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia.

Originally spinning hip-hop, Ricardo's passion led him to immerse himself in house music, where he honed his skills and developed a signature style blending deep, tech, and house.

Today, Ricardo keeps his craft sharp through regular mixes and by pushing the boundaries of multi-format mixing. You can catch his distinctive sound on SoundCloud or tune into his System Shaker mixshow every Sunday night from 7 PM to 9 PM EST on GrooveLondon.com.
