A live "Ibiza Vice" set recorded from an all-day boat party I was lucky enough to play at a few summers ago. 

This was my warm-up set featuring some of my favourite eighties artists including Phil Collins, Sade, Talk Talk, Jan Hammer Toto, Simple Minds, Brian Ferry, Eddie Grant & Chris Rea - plus many more. 

A nostalgic 1 hour mix, featuring a blend of Eighties Pop, Balearic, Boogie and Ital Disco/Synth.  Interspersed with some samples from the iconic  1980's TV series Miami Vice, one of my all-time favourite shows of that magical era for music/tv/film :) Hope you enjoy the trip back into time as much as I did :) Much love, Colin x

IBIZA 2019 BOAT PARTY LIVE: Part.3 (Disco, House & Eighties Vibes)

A live radio tribute mix recorded about 20ish years ago on a West London station “Interbeats FM”. Going back in time – this recording is from one of my regular Sat afternoon radio shows, where I attempted to capture at least some of the essence of one of the best clubs I ever had the privilege of attending between 1993-95 – Club UK in Wandsworth, South London.

I loved the techno room, but this mix is more focussed on the sound of the middle room, that was the spiritual home for our crew - or the “carpet room” as we used to call it. The music was more progressive house/euro house/early trance based. Magical times and magical memories for anyone who was lucky enough to be there 😊

I hope you enjoy the mix, recorded live on vinyl and at times some muffled chat due to a dodgy mic (sorry about that!) but hopefully the music makes up for it. Much love – especially to any Club UK peeps out there, Colin x

CLUB UK LONDON 1993-95: Live (vinyl set) Euro & Progressive House Mix

Recorded live at the 2nd "Groove Ascension" all-day party in West London - held on Aug 26th 2023 at The Green W7. Without doubt one of our best parties, this also happened to be my Birthday, a bonus :) A cracking day spent in the sunshine into the evening with (as always) our amazing, friendly up for it crowd.

This was my later set from 10-11pm featuring original 90’s/00's house mixed with some retro inspired newer stuff. Artists include the Thompson Twins, Duke, Depeche Mode, The Streets, Sweely, Purple Disco Machine and Dee Patten, but to name a few.

GROOVE ASCENSION PART.2 Live (LONDON) AUG 2023: 90's/00's Vibes

A live mix recorded on 9th March 2024 at Club Canvas in Bournemouth.

Taking you back to some of the golden years of house music – from 1992 to 1995. Our collective Groove Ascension from West London made it down to the South Coast for our first party by the sea and we loved it!

The night was to celebrate the birthday of an old mate DJ SimonAM, reflecting a time when we were both living in Sheffield and spending every penny we had on records :)

On a much more commercial tip than my normal bag, I enjoyed digging out some classics to get the party started as they say. Featuring tracks from K-Klass, SIL, Helicopter, E-Lustrious, Slo Moshun and More Kante and many more – plus a few re-edits of classics that went down really well near the end - the big ones being by Cassim and the Prodigy

*DISCLAIMER Posting this purely for nostalgic reasons, not the mixing :) A live Old Skool Mix I’ve dug out from the 90’s  -  converted from a tape at the now sadly de-funked East London pirate station Shine FM (87.9). Recorded in a sweaty studio in Dalston, long before the area became gentrified/full of hispters. I remember feeling pretty nervous getting our records out of the car and being circled by the local welcoming party on their BMX's, funny looking back, not so funny at the time :) Anyway it was all good once we got into the studio, we got to do our thing that day - and over a fair few Sunday afternoon shows that summer, this is the only recording as far as I know (probably for the best). Tracks are all classic house & hardcore tracks from 1989-93, hope you enjoy…

Going right back to my earliest mixtapes that have survived. Recorded in a pokey flat in Kilburn (NW London), my best mate Will pulled out his fav house records from my bag and I did my best to mix them, a bit wobbly in places, but a special memory spent with an amazing man who is no longer with us, he loved his music but especially this era of rave - a connection that always bound us together. RIP my great friend. And for anyone taking the time to listen to this mix - thanks, enjoy the trip back in time and hopefully enjoy this small window into 1990 warehouse vibes...Where everything was simple - bleeps, huge bass, smoke machine and a single laser x

IBIZA 2019 LIVE: @ Santa Eulalia Villa Party (vinyl set) - Classic Retro Chilled House (1987-91)...

Undoubtedly one of the high-lights of my DJing career, I was lucky enough to play at this iconic Ibiza club/venue for a memorable all day-party last summer, to celebrate the Birthday of local legend Ian ‘the frog’. A live recording of my afternoon set from the outside terrace by the pool, a lovely place to spin a few tunes 😊 A vinyl only set, I dusted off tracks from some of my all-time favourite artists including Roy Ayers, Donald Byrd, Kraftwerk, Fleetwood Mac & the Stereo MC’s , but to name a few…

Music includes a mixture of classic Disco, Eighties, Electro-Funk, Ital Disco and a sprinkling of House/90’s Hip-Hop. It was great to meet so many sound people at the party and over that weekend - some special memories of those few days on the White Isle...
