Since 1995, DJ B Bomb B has been on a relentless sonic quest, carving a path through the evolution of electronic music. What began with the hypnotic pulses of progressive trance soon erupted into a fusion of electro house, mash-ups, and dubstep—each genre refining his craft, each new sound pushing him further. But it was electro and electro breaks that finally ignited his soul, locking him into a rhythm that pulses with raw energy and futuristic intensity.  

Surrounded by friends deeply embedded in the music scene, DJ B Bomb B has absorbed and elevated the underground sound, driven to bigger and bolder heights. His sets are not just music—they are kinetic experiences, where shattered synths collide with thunderous breakbeats and basslines that ripple through the crowd like an unstoppable current. Each transition, each drop, is a calculated surge, designed to pull dancers into the electricity of the moment.  

Now, after decades of exploration, DJ B Bomb B stands as an architect of movement, an unrelenting force pushing electro breaks forward while keeping its underground roots alive. He doesn’t just play music—he creates sonic moments that resonate long after the night fades. Representing TLA with pride, alongside DJ Natural Nate, Axel V, Andre Electro, Chris Peacock, Jigga Bot, and Angel Pitch—true forces in the scene, fueling the journey every step of the way. The story isn’t over—it’s only getting louder.

The Failed States is a creative project based in an aged care facility in the leafy suburb of Wantirna, Melbourne Australia. 

Initially a recreational outlet, allowing residents to express themselves through music, poetry and napping, The Failed States has since taken on a life of it own. 

Anguished songs about other residents' grandchildren being too loud at the table tennis table, or laments of lukewarm, semi-set pudding were gradually replaced by powerful pieces about climate change, urban decay, relationship breakdown and stolen dentures.

There are no permanent members of The Failed States, we live on, as age, petty rivalries, and forgetfulness takes us all.

The Failed States tries to perform in the common room on the second Tuesday of every month, after lunch.
