Daniel Flores, known professionally as D-Tha-Prophet, was born in Guatemala and relocated to Canada at the age of 12.

 His musical journey commenced early as he explored various instruments, including the trumpet, drums, and bass guitar. At 14, his passion for electronic music was ignited by his first encounter with a drum machine.

Growing up with a rich tapestry of musical influences—from the psychedelic sounds introduced by his father to the intensity of metal—Daniel developed a profound appreciation for trance music in the early 2000s. Captivated by the vibrant energy of his first rave, he embarked on a DJ career in 2005, inspired by the legendary Toronto Trance figure, Dr. Trance.

In 2009, he launched his podcast, D-Tha-Prophet’s Official Trance-Xperience, which showcased a diverse array of trance styles. This endeavor led to the founding of his production companies, Crystal Clear Productions and Darkside Productions, both dedicated to the darker facets of underground music.

Despite encountering various challenges, Daniel’s commitment to underground music has remained steadfast. In 2018, he ventured into music production, creating tracks influenced by artists like G.M.S. and 1200 Micrograms.

Today, Daniel is making his return to DJing, expressing his passion for underground music in every mix. He skillfully navigates a wide range of genres, from Goa Trance to Hi-Tech, while primarily favoring psychedelic trance and forest psy, allowing him to convey his moods and emotions through his art.
