Their musical journey began with a shared passion for infectious beats and groovy rhythms that resonate. Known for their distinct sound that seamlessly blends groovy melodies with percussive elements, Blaqq & Why'd have carved out a unique niche in the electronic music scene.


Their music has caught the attention of industry heavyweights, with support from esteemed artists such as Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Paco Osuna, Joseph Capriati, Michael Bibi, Loco Dice and many more. This recognition has propelled Blaqq & Why'd to new heights, solidifying their reputation as rising stars in the electronic music landscape.


With a growing fan base and a string of successful releases under their belt, Blaqq & Why'd continue to push boundaries and explore new sonic territories. Their infectious energy and innovative approach to music production have earned them a dedicated following and critical acclaim.

Daniel has been djing for over 20 years playing clubs, bars and festivals. although heavily influenced by 90's hip hop, he has always felt at home mixing his first love HOUSE MUSIC. Daniel began djing in his home town of Newcastle Upon Tyne. In the late 90's he moved to London where he has never looked back. Since arriving in London Daniel has held residencies in a host of well known clubs and bars including Supperclub, Hed Kandi, and Ministry of Sound playing alongside the big hitters. Daniel has developed his sound over time. For him it's all about playing those house tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realising it.
