LAYKKAH is the brainchild of musician, Dj and producer George M., retrieving references from the archives of the 70s and 80s, Laykkah's alchemy occurs when reviving those sounds within a variety of styles - Nudisco, Indie, Deep house, Synthpop and Tech House - against a backdrop of current beats and grooves providing the common denominator.

Moulton Music is a collaboration of artists obsessed with both the future and past of house music.  Being run by producers and music-makers, our output is varied, ranging from deep house to soul to jackin' disco, but always with a sense of historical perspective and an ear for fine-tuned production, as well as a deep connection to the dancefloor.  We're based around San Francisco's legendary Moulton Studios, where most of the production takes place, but our friends and collaborators stretch far and wide.  

There are many people involved, but our core consists of Chris Lum and David Harness (who together form Harlum Muziq), as well as Homero Espinosa and Allen Craig (both formerly of Yerba Buena Discos), along with San Francisco cult favorite DJ's Sergio Fedasz and Ivan Ruiz, and producer and marketing guru Anish Acharya (of Dream In Audio).  Of course, we have many more friends and compatriots when you include all the people involved in our regular Molton Sessions underground house party, our various club nights, and the rest of the artists and remixers on the label, but it's that spirit of collaboration, along with our past-meets-future musical values, which defines Moulton Music.

Born July 22nd 1971... raised on the West Side of Chicago by my loving mother and grandparents. I use to be extremely shy... until I found my footing with House Music ... which is more than just music .. It's a culture.  I've been in Love with House Music since its creation. House Music is my passion. Back in the day I listened to the music on some of the more popular local radio stations like WBMX and WNUR....  I was a HOUSE HEAD in the making... Although not old enough to attend most of the early club party scenes, I did manage to sneak into a few House Parties... does DaVinci Manor, the Resurrection and Saint Peters Hall ring a bell! I listened and learned from the best... it was then when I decided to become a DJ! I started  collecting and spinning records back in 1993 so I'm the new kid on the block in a sense but at the same time.. a force to be reckoned with!... Places I have graced the decks at are: Strictly Business, Marsha's Jam, Carolyn's, the Dragonfly, Buji's aka Inclusive Cafe, the Touch of the Past, the Doggie Inn, Visionz, Mr. G's, Betty's Bluestar Lounge, the Checkerboard Lounge, the Marquis Room, Club Watra, Brown Sugar, Brando's, Urban Myth, the Supper Club, the Negro League, Kita's, the Mormon Grand, Loft 51, the Chez Roue, Rose Banquets, Leo's Den, Club Euro, Tac’s Wet Bar & Tonik Night Club. I was a member of D'Vine One Enterprises and Back2Soul Entertainment. I’ve now started my own production company, B & J Entertainment. Over the course of the years I’ve worked with, Dj’ed for or played music with the following people … to name a few: Farley Jackmaster Funk, Gene Hunt, Andre Hatchet, Mike Dunn, Dave Risque’, Kevin McSwain, Celeste Alexander, Craig Loftis, Byron Burke, Chris Underwood, Dejay Cease, Ezohn, Brian Reeves, Dj Emmanuel, Rhonda Flowers, 2 Fingers Entertainment, Koolout of WGCI and Koolout Radio WVON. My mixes have been heard on WVON and on numerous internet radio shows. My Edits have been shared with many of the well known House Dj’s mentioned above. I was the Dj for 3 Brothers and a Mic Inc. and now I’m the official on-tour Dj for the Legendary K.Joy. I currently reside on the Southside of Chicago and you can catch me out in the House Scene or spinning at one of the clubs.

Since 2006 cooperate in producing and remixing with House Music Artist: Dj Alfred Azzetto. Now producing regularly with some of the best labels of the House Music worldwide (Purple Music, Look At You, Rule 5, Atal Music, Reelgroove Uk, QPoint, Mood Funk, Monoside, Cruise Music, miniMarket, Reelhouse and more...) In August 2010 his single "Discofied EP" rised the top 5 and in Traxsource download chart, the song Discofied Funk was included by DJ Meme in the compilation "Defected in the House Brazil 11" and also in the Purple compilation "My boyfriend is out of town 3".
