We move from one mid-west city to another…and this time we have some Chicago Royalty in thee house!

One of Chicago's true heroes and cited by many as a pioneer the city's sound, thee enigmatic K Alexi… also known as:
5 King's, Club MCM, Count Cool, D.J. Long Dong, K-Alexi Shelby, K.A. Posse, K.Kool, Mind Control Music, The Beat Junkies, 2 Black Ninjas, Phurture, Risque III…the list goes on and on!

Kaay is regarded as one of Chicago ‘s founding fathers of Chicago House music & is considered one of the key instrumental pioneers in the genre. 
Since the late 1980s, he has helped pioneer the true house sound that has led to a House production career that has spanned over 30 years.

A tally of successful hit records, remixing and collaborations resulted in his talents being sought by artists like The Pet Shop Boys, Derrick May and Paul Johnson. 
He has also worked with Larry Heard & Robert Owens, Dave Angel, Felix Da Housecat and Will Smith.

As I like to add some extra Seabra Monkey sauce to my mixtapes to give it my own flavour, I have edited some tracks. 
The opening track is my own and is remixed for this mixtape to fit it better. 
The original version is set for release on February 12th 2024. 
The track is personal as Lia is a long lost relative that came back into my life recently. 
She is a big fan of what I do and to honor her I have created this track especially for her! 
I feel the mixtape came out well and I do hope you all will like it too.

The inscription pulsed on the obsidian monolith, a mantra against the swirling void. I held the tuning fork, its cosmic hum countering the alien symphony. Each note vibrated through me, a fractal shattering of time. Days bled into centuries, and realities flickered like dying embers. Yet, the inscription remained a constant in the chaos.
Was it 30 years, 3 hours, 1 minute, and 3 seconds, or a mere 3 seconds stretched across an eternity? The distinction dissolved. I, a cosmic surfer on a wave of pure distortion, became one with the music of the spheres. When the final note resonated, a profound silence echoed. The inscription, now cold and inert, mocked the immensity of the journey: a lifetime or a heartbeat. The 30:03:01:03 remained a cryptic testament to an exhilarating and strangely melancholy journey, a yearning for a past that might have been a future or a future that echoed from a forgotten time.

Bio/
An electronic music collective from Siberia creates dub techno music. They strive to develop deep, atmospheric, minimalistic yet meaningful and intelligent music that reflects their mood, emotions, and surroundings. The guys also manage the Siberian dub techno label [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], which has produced more than 60 artists. The label also releases a series of dub techno podcasts, DUBBISM.

I have been interested in music since childhood; my acquaintance with electronic music began with the Drum & Bass style. As I grew older, I began to be more attracted to calm, deep music. Now I run a group on VKontakte "Deep Dub Tech" and an online radio, where I publish my mixes, as well as the mixes of my friends.
