Sangoma Records Series' next artist is PURIST from Brazil.

Purist is the Brazil based project of Leonardo Tozzi who is active as a listener and producer of psychedelic music since 2002. With his progressive project “Soulearth” he achieved international recognition and released on various labels and performed in some of the most important festivals in Brazil.
After an inspirational break Leonardo now is back with full force underwent transformation within his music into deep, more nighttime oriented sounds with the aim to heal the soul through trance - resulting in influences he had through shamanic experiences. Truly reborn psychedelia with a twist, which he describes as “ Alien Forest”. After some exiting collaborations and releases on labels such Mosaico and Catalyst Records he now joined the Sangoma Records family. Some exiting releases are guaranteed. Stay tuned!

It’s time for sixth edition of Mo:Dem Festival and in year 2017. the biggest novelty is our new concept with three musical stages. Here we present you the sounds of The Hive. In the past editions this stage was called Main. We consider that today it's totally inappropriate to divide musical genres on 'main' and 'alternative'. However new name doesn't change the fact that The Hive is the nucleus of Mo:Dem Festival. The place where nature, art, creativity, technology and the spirits of the forest meet to create ultimate dance space. The Hive will host wide range of top quality underground psychedelic artists from around the world delivering some of the finest sounds of the past and present, and showcasing some of the new fresh and unheard sounds of the future. Here is the set i played at Shankra to honor our great friend and labelmate Bruno, Module Virus who passed away after battling with cancer. It was a magical moment,  the second the set was over it started raining. This set contains some of his best of, collaborations, recent and unreleased work. Big thanks to Mahi from Shankra for suggesting this set in his memory, Bom Shanka music for providing me with music which was released on their label, where Bruno was a member for many years - unfortunately i couldn't load that batch in time. Big thanks to Boom Festival and Ozora - you fullfilled his lifetime dreams by giving his music the stage he dreamed of since he started making music.  Much thanks also for everyone who supported Bruno in his too short but colorful life. It made him happy to play his music to people and see them dance. Dear fellow creatures, in these ambivalent times full of change and uncertainty, we are facing new states of our everyday modes that are asking us to adopt likewise measures. We are undergoing social distancing in order to unite in a common cause, we are undergoing inactivity in order to take action, and we are forgetting our differences in order to remember that we are all connected in a circle much larger than we can possibly grasp.

Aligning to this global situation, we have made a small attempt to reach out to all of you. We feel that we need to impose some special measures and in the same ambivalent manner we decided that a strict Forestdelic curfew needs to be announced all over your speakers. Everyday from 21:00 CET there will be a new recorded set from one of our native artists on our Soundcloud page for about an hour of positivity, joy and inspiration, and when movement in the area of fear, panic and despair will be strictly forbidden. All the rest of your daily time we kindly ask from everyone to be conscious, disciplined and caring for one another and exercise the general guidelines active in your respective areas.

Dhira was hit by music from his earliest childhood, since then he has continued to develop his own sensitivity to sound and the creative part of his life.
Trained as a drummer, his first contact with the musical universe of the electronic scene would completely change his life.
He decided to become a dj in the mid-90s, to share his sense of rhythm and partying. He then began to mix in events in the South-East of France, participate in the development of parties with the "Body and Mind" collective, host a radio show "Astral Communication" and share stages with prestigious artists and founders of electronic music.
From there, his passion for music continued to guide him on a journey filled with encounters across the globe and its dancefloors (Brazil, Croatia, France, India, Japan, Indonesia, Morocco, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey).
He joined the Swiss label PEAK RECORDS in 2007 and collaborated with the famous duo YabYum and Ajja. In 2016, continuing his search for new experiences, he joined alongside the artists of Digital Shamans Records and released four compilations, bringing together prestigious artists such as:
Ajja, Act One, Braingeeners, Doom's, Endeavour, Earthworm, Gaspard, Headworks, Ingrained Instincts, Jumpstreet, Psymmetrix, Radikal Moodz, Z3nkaï and many others ...
