Too many influences to name but a few are Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, Sasha, John Digweed, Josh Wink, Paul Van Dyk, Daft Punk, Monroe Dawkins, Tuff Jam, MJ Cole, Todd Edwards, Kraftwerk and Depeche mode. The list could go on all day. 
I try not to put my stuff in boxes, it is what it is and will always try to avoid falling into the trap of sounding like anybody else. Rightly or wrongly I prefer to be original rather than fitting into somebody else's idea of what music should sound like.
I use M Audio Venom, Maschine and I have a Roland TR-505 but that rarely comes out as I don't have the time for its funny little ways haha good toy though.
