A very early promo mix from 1995 I found on an old cassette tape of oldskool dubwize jungle/D&B which I recorded from vinyl onto tape and then digital to upload. I have joined both sides of the cassette tape together using software to make one long mix. Some class tunes on here!

I was Invited to be the support DJ for my favourite band 'African Headcharge' who were playing live in my home town of Nottingham last week. I was contacted by their manager 4 days before the gig. Of course I accepted the chance to DJ my latest selection of top reggae and dubs, mostly releases from 2024. An awesome gig and achievement and a great pleasure for me having the afternoon to get to know the band and Gaudi. He did a fab set with AHC adding his warped electronic sounds and effects to the mix. I am pleased with my set and the vibes it created to warm up the packed house for the band. Big respect to AHC especially Bonjo and Gaudi and to Craig and Tom and all the tour crew. Thank you and come back to Nottingham soon!

Sweetpotato Promotions had the honour of bringing the legendary Dub Syndicate from Adrian Sherwoods On U Sound records to perform live at Sam Fay's in 96. Highest respects go out to all On U Sound but especially the late and great Style Scott drummer of Dub Syndicate and Roots Radics who was in Nottingham that beautiful night!

This a 'bootleg' recording taken from within the crowd in front of the world music stage at Glastonbury Festival 1990.  It has never been heard before.  I have never made any money from it and give it freely. I recorded it using a Sony walkman professional. It captures the amazing atmosphere and you can even hear the sound being mixed by the wind as it blows it across the huge crowd!  Best memories and inspiration shared to enjoy and enlighten!  Biggest respect always to Adrian Sherwood & On U Sound artists.

African Headcharge & Lee 'Scratch' Perry Live @ Glastonbury 1990 (Final Edit)

I have been vegan and animal rights supporter for well over 25 years with a small break as a vegetarian some years back. I thought its about time I create a conscious mix to celebrate the ital philosophy and vegan way of living. 'You are what you eat' & 'ital is vital'.  I am committed to this daily practice and meditation.  Veganism is the making of my healthy body and mind and way of living.  My interest in reggae has become my life following the way of the true rastafarian diet. I have a great interest in cooking getting inspiration from all vegetarian cultures and the amazing and varied food they eat. My diet is never boring quite the contrary and often merges meals from around the world on the same plate. I try to live being conscious of  my responsibility for my effect on our planet and all life I share it with. 

As it is 2020 the year of the corona virus that reportedly originates from wild meat markets in China. Our responsibility toward the welfare of our animal friends and the negative effect of the meat industry on the animals, our environment & the health of those that eat meat, has has been highly publicised in mainstream media, which is reflected in the huge increase in the manufacture and sale of plant based foods.  I salute all those living as a vegan! The corona virus and it effects is also mentioned in my mix. Be kind to all animals & to all humans & to our planet.  Peace & one love to all!

Dedicated to my friend and inspiration, Pete DIY DJ Woosh of Digs & Whoosh who sadly left us to play the greatest free party in the sky yesterday. Very early live recording of the legendary DIY Collective who had their first own tent at Glastonbury Festival 1990. It was amazing to be there. 'Put your hands in the air'...well mine had a microphone in it most of that weekend capturing the likes of African Headcharge live with Lee 'Scratch' Perry and Hawkwind who played the Travellers field at 4am! All recorded on drugs using Sony Walkman Pro on metal tape with a stereo Sony microphone.
