Help me ascend out of the 7th Circle of hell that I have fallen into. I have lost my career as a firefighter after 18yrs due to a job-related injury, which has left me disabled. However, being a Dj and playing in front of a crowd is helping me to ascend out of the darkness. Additionally, I love playing in front of a crowd as nothing makes me feel more alive than watching the crowd go nuts for the music that love. If you love Acid Techno, Hard Techno, DNB, Breaks, or Electro. Then please take my hand and together we can ascend out of our darkness together.

Uwe war ein einzigartiger Typ. Er lebte in einer kleinen Wohnung im Herzen von Berlin und hatte zwei große Leidenschaften: 🥦und Techno. Jeder, der Uwe kannte, wusste, dass seine Wochenenden eine exzessive Mischung aus basslastigen Beats und dicken Rauchwolken waren.

Eines Samstags, nachdem er seinen Lieblings-Joint gedreht hatte, beschloss Uwe, dass es Zeit für ein neues Abenteuer war. Er hatte von einem geheimen Techno-Rave gehört, der tief im Wald stattfand. Der perfekte Ort, um seine beiden Leidenschaften zu kombinieren. Also schnappte er sich seine Bong, zog sein schrillstes Neon-Outfit an und machte sich auf den Weg.

Als Uwe im Wald ankam, fand er eine bunte Menge von Rave-Enthusiasten, die bereits zu den treibenden Rhythmen tanzten. Die DJs drehten die Platten, und die Lichtshow war so intensiv, dass es fast so aussah, als ob die Bäume selbst tanzen würden. Uwe war begeistert. Er setzte sich auf einen Baumstumpf, zündete seinen Joint an und inhalierte tief.

Plötzlich erschien ein kleines Eichhörnchen vor ihm. Uwe, der in diesem Moment von einer besonders intensiven Welle der Entspannung übermannt wurde, starrte das Eichhörnchen an und fragte: „Hey kleiner Freund, willst du auch mal probieren?“

Zur Überraschung aller nahm das Eichhörnchen den Joint mit seinen kleinen Pfoten und zog einen kräftigen Zug. Dann begann es, im Takt der Musik zu tanzen, als ob es schon immer ein Raver gewesen wäre. Die Menge jubelte, und das Eichhörnchen wurde schnell zum Star des Abends. Es war der beste Tänzer auf dem gesamten Rave!

Am nächsten Morgen wachte Uwe auf einer Waldlichtung auf, umgeben von leeren Wasserflaschen, leuchtenden Armbändern und schlafenden Rave-Besuchern. Das Eichhörnchen saß immer noch neben ihm und hielt den Rest des Joints. Uwe grinste breit und sagte: „Das war die beste Nacht meines Lebens.“

Von diesem Tag an hatte Uwe immer einen kleinen Vorrat an Haselnüssen dabei, wenn er zu Raves ging. Schließlich wollte er seinen neuen Freund nie enttäuschen. Und das Eichhörnchen? Es wurde zur Legende in der Berliner Techno-Szene, bekannt als DJ Nussknacker.

Und so lebte Uwe glücklich weiter, immer mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen und einem Beat im Herzen, während er die perfekte Balance zwischen🥦 und Techno fand.Alle Mixe sind spontan, nie geplant.

THE STORY OF DJ TRIPNOTIC & THE RETURN OF TRIPNOTIC RECORDS & SOUNDS

It all started in the early ‘90s. My crew and I were regulars at the underground clubs pulsing through Orlando, Florida—places where the bass hit deep and the music rewired your brain. I didn’t know much about the scene at the time—I just knew it was changing me. The beats, the energy, the unity on that dancefloor… it moved my mind, my body, and my soul.

For years I was just a listener, soaking in the sound—until one night, everything changed. A friend of mine threw down the nastiest set I’d ever heard at an afterparty. The records he was spinning? Breakbeats. That gritty, body-slamming energy of Miami Bass that I’d grown up on in the ’80s and ’90s, now reborn and raw. From that moment, I was done just listening—I needed to play.

In 1997, I asked that same friend to teach me how to mix. At first, I was all over the place—trainwreck city. But when I finally got my first pair of Technics 1200s, everything clicked. I’d work all day, then come home and practice for hours, spinning until I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Before long, I was getting booked for parties, after-hours, and underground events. That’s when DJ Tripnotic was born.

By 2001, I took the next step. With the help of my father, I opened Tripnotic Records & Sounds—a vinyl shop deep in South Orlando. It wasn’t just a store, it was a hub. I met DJs, producers, fans—people who lived for the sound just like I did. I started making my own music too, and in 2004 I dropped my first release, simply titled “Electro.” Things were rolling. But like all great stories, there were challenges. In 2005, after four amazing years, I had to shut the shop down.

Life went on. Responsibilities took over. But the music never left me. I never stopped digging crates, spinning records, or chasing that next beat.

And now… the return begins.

In 2025, I’m resurrecting TRIPNOTIC RECORDS & SOUNDS—20 years later—with a brand-new vision. The vibe is deeper, the sound is harder, and the mission is clear: honor the roots, push the limits, and fuel the future of Florida Breaks, Electro, and underground bass music.

We’re back. We never really left.

I am just a HUGE music fan!!!  After hearing my first Florida breaks back in the middle to late 90's and then going to a Baby Anne show in Atlanta, I was hooked.  I love a little bit of it all, just depends on my mood as to what I want to hear.  If its too loud, you're too old......................................
