glitch and granular sound, created through the use of synthesizers, drum machines, and other electronic instruments. I used a different creative process to get to some sounds, using many layers, destroyed and recomposed.

This is my entry for the Beat Collective Challenge for 16th Feb 2025 in which participants are given three samples and the challenge id to incrporate those samples into a new piece of music, any genre.

This time the samples are from Senor Picante and comprise:-

Sample 1 - Synth Pad
Sample 2 - Glitchy Drums
Sample 3 - Rolling Snares

I incorporated all three samples in the two breakdowns and in addition I sliced the Rolling Snares to midi and made separate hits from them which I used as fills at various points un the track.e.g 1:20 & 2:50.  I wanted to do a lot more with them and create fill patterns and extra percussion from the Glitchy Drums too but I haven't had time. I also used the Synth Pad as an added ambience sound which plays throughout the track. (edited)
