LTR Premiere: Basaar - For A Memory (Ilias Katelanos & Plecta Remix) [Telematique]

Entering the 24th year of this Millenium, Melbournites "The Journey" are taking it back a notch with their latest single "Games". Delivering an emotive and evocative record, 'Games' has already gained some attention from high profile artists around the world.

During their recent European tour, the Boys enjoyed a fate encounter with Swiss producer Kellerkind whilst sharing the bill at the infamous Hive Club in Zurich. After sharing some music and some beverages, the question of remixing Games was raised to which he agreed. A few months passed by and Kellerkind delivered what is an outstanding take on the original.

Rounding out the release, Vapour Recordings legend Kasey Taylor teams up with Chris Meehan for a nostalgic remix and an all in progressive house monster. A mix that lights up the dance floor, with hypnotic groove and subtle arp lines, we are over the moon to have these two legends of the genre here on UGenius and am sure it won't be the last time.

The Journey - Games

'iZIKI is venturing into a darker musical landscape this time, showcasing Djolee alongside his companions Thimble, Francisco Garcia, and vocalist Apo Lucia. 

Renowned Brazilian Afro house artist Mezomo gets called in for the remix duty. "Karnak" crafts expansive sonic landscapes using melodies derived from the Arabic instrument Oud, with enchanting vocals of Apo Lucia to match. 

Mezomo reimagines "Karnak" with his distinct touch, to a more groovy journey. He adds a dynamic dimension to the release, showcasing a balance between the experimental and the danceable. The journey concludes with "Oculus Horus," which explores even deeper, darker tones, flirting with techno influences. Despite the edgier direction, the track retains a mystical atmosphere, blending percussive elements to create a captivating sonic journey.'
