都内を中心に全国さまざまなクラブでプレイ。野外パーティでのDJプレイでも絶大な支持を得ている。自身にしかできないジャンルレスなグルーヴで、フロアを熱狂の渦へと誘う稀有なDJ。
2012,2015年に主宰するレーベルCOREHEADから、2枚の12inch Vinylを発表。2017年よりCOREHEADのハウス、ディスコラインとなる”EEZEE”シリーズを開始。数々の楽曲を生み出し、SUMMER SONIC 2013のCM曲や、Evisen Skateboardsのツアービデオへの楽曲提供などで高い評価を得ている。2021年にSound Of VastよりリリースされたDJ SODEYAMAの別名義、THE PEOPLE IN FOGのアルバム"1977"に1曲参加。またDJ KENSEI監修のレーベルsorameccer sound designからmix tapeをリリース。2022年、HOLE AND HOLLANDより12inch Vinylをリリース予定。

desde sua adolescência em osaka, Ground (@dj-ground)já viajava pelo japão levando o seu som pela cena underground de lá. parte do coletivo voodoohop e responsável por ciceronear a crew em suas tours pelo japão, ele tem uma prolífica produção musical onde ele coleta sons percussivos inspirados na tradição japonesa, elementos sintéticos e eletrônicos, passeia pelos sistemas tonais da música oriental e semeia com glitches de sons orgânicos e mistura tudo numa paisagem sonora sem fronteiras dicerníveis. segundo ele, o povo de osaka é brincalhão e se sente feliz quando os outros em volta sorriem, e isso se reflete em seus sets onde até mesmo as passagens mais densas e pesadas trazem sempre algo alegre. é um dos fundadores do coletivo Chill Mountain e tem lançamentos em selos de várias partes do mundo, da europa até a america latina.

本日配信するDJ mixは2000年中盤から野外パーティーChill mountainをスタートさせ、現在はChill Mountain Rec.のレーベルオーナー、またresident artistとしても活動しているGround。
関西をベースにするも海外の幾つものFESにも毎年出演し多忙な日々を送る彼のDJ mixは今の日本では体験することも少なくなってきました。ぜひこの機会に彼の世界観を堪能してみてください.
This month's SOG radio is titled "Feat. Chill mountain rec." and features artists from the Osaka-based Chill Mountain rec. label.

Today's DJ mix is Ground, who started the outdoor party Chill mountain in the middle of 2000, and is currently the label owner and resident artist of Chill Mountain Rec.

Based in Osaka, Ground processes and reconstructs sounds he encounters around the world to create new creations for the dancefloor. evoke visions of pulsating otherworldly ecosystems. Immersing oneself in these sounds often feels like transcending the human-alien divide.

He started DJing in his teens and has played all over Japan, based in Osaka's underground music scene. He was one of the founders of the Chill Mountain collective, which held regular parties on the mountainside of Osaka, and later, together with sound engineer Kabamix and designer Mt.chills, started to focus on the record label Chill Mountain Recordings. He began to focus his efforts on the Chill Mountain Recordings record label with sound engineer Kabamix and designer Mt.chills. They have performed at various festivals and events in over 27 countries, including the USA, Canada, Chile, Brazil, Germany, Ecuador, Croatia, Israel, Cyprus and Switzerland.

He has a thriving personal career, with a rich and complex catalogue of EPs, singles and collaborations, as well as seven albums & seven Ep releases, including his 2018 world debut album SUNIZM on the LA label ESP Institute.
