Having grown up in a small town in Lincolnshire called Grantham Claire became drawn to underground dance music. Soon she became a regular clubber at nights such as Sundissential, Storm and Tidy Weekenders. Her love for the sound grew and in 2001 and she decided to buy some decks and the journey began.

Claire currently plays both Freeform and Hard House. She was eager to start playing in clubs and 6 months after she had started learning she had her first ever hard house booking in Nottingham in 2002.  Since then Claire has been rocking dance floors across the south and south east. Claire loves to drop classic tunes into her sets to really get the crowd going, and her favourite venue is Area in Vauxhall.

Her production legacy mostly includes Hardcore tunes that have been written post 2006, when Claire started producing her own tunes. Many of these tunes have been signed and released under The Nu Energy Collective labels; most recently My Desire on Relentless Energy. So far Claire has produced several tunes to date but more freeform and hard house projects are planned for later this year.

The biggest artists which have influenced Claire’s djing and production are Kev Energy, K Complex, Lost Soul, Cube::Hard, Oli G, Ephexis and A.B. within Freeform. Also, Tom Parr, Paul Glazby, Justin Bourne, Defective Audio, Dave Owens, Frank Farrell and Lucy Fur for Hard House.

Claire currently lives in Surrey where she spends her weekends making tunes or attending hard house and hardcore nights in London.
