The Danse Macabre Series (1 - 3, so far) sets the perfect scene to immerse yourself into the depth of musical intricacy that (DJ )Hellfyre has become known for and  the third excerpt in the series definitely does not disappoint.  Hellfyre has taken the self imposed exile  of the COVID epidemic and turned it into something special. 

Danse Macabre No. 3 - My Shattered Soul is masterful.  Slowly bubbling under the surface of what Hellfyre refers to as his NetherSound; this mix blends some great melodic progressive tracks and builds from a place of reverence to a level where the listener can't help to want to be on the shore of some island during sunset or sunrise, or on a rooftop high above the city, dancing, living, and taking in.....everything.   

Seamless mixing and fantastic track selection make this an auditory experience that you may never want to come back from.  My Shattered Soul is a Hellfyre's return to the turntables after nearly a year and if this is what is in store, then frankly, we can't wait to see what other tricks The Dark Prince has up his sleeves.

Here it is people, "EYE OF THE BEHOLDER", is pretty progressive trance, house, and techno, all mixed together to show you exactly where the beauty is....

There is an incredible tracklist of producers featuring; Suspect 44, Armin Van Buuren, John O' Callaghan, Skytech, Solid Stone, and many more. I hope that you love it as much as I loved making it !! This has a great big room dance sound that you will definitely feel, or at least I hope so.

So please go get your headphones, and turn this up loud, turn up your speakers everywhere, light some candles, go for a run and seriously go to your happy place.

I sincerely hope that "Eye of the Beholder" is the mix that you will listen to again and again...

Gregory Esayan's "Numb Capsule" not only proved to be one of the most sonically experimental cuts on last year's "Pilgrim's Diary" artist album, but also one of the most memorable, thanks to the composition's impossibly layered, cinematic soundscape. On this single, label veterans Sam Davies and Blugazer both offer brand new progressive takes on Esayan's unorthodox classic, very much in the distinctive styles that have defined their respective discographies. 

Sam Davies has garnered tremendous support from the global trance & progressive community in the past year -- a year that included his very first remix of a Gregory Esayan track ("Ararat"), as well as the standout original single "Northern Lights." For fans that found the latter a bit too deep for their tastes, Davies' gorgeous interpretation of "Numb Capsule" finds the Canadian phenom in more familiar peak-hour progressive territory. A signature deep, full-bodied bassline unites with an uptempo rhythm to give the song plenty of early muscle; meanwhile, the faint "life support" effect and a plethora of other samples from the original version provide tremendous atmospheric depth. Yet, the most noteworthy observation about Davies' remix is that he offers rhythmic and melodic variations at every turn: from the reinvigorated groove to the gorgeous new lead and arp lines. 

Blugazer, like Davies and Esayan, is known for intricate and imaginative progressive compositions, though, his productions uniquely possess hues of chillout & downtempo as well. Not surprisingly, then, the American talent's rendering of "Numb Capsule" complement's its release counterpart beautifully, as the arrangement is not only groovy and emotive, but also gentle and soothing. Blugazer's airy and hypnotic arrangement masterfully captures the after-hours and almost "mystical" essence of Gregory's original version. By the song's latter half, the listener cannot help but drift into a sublimely 'numb' state.

It's an honor to feature Enviado Vida on our imprint for the first time. The Russian veteran caught our ear in recent years, on account of his particularly lush and emotive deep-progressive style. His offering here, "Retinal Pathology," includes three gorgeous interpretations (at varying tempi) of the same breathtaking composition.

The original version offers an evocative, cinematic aura from its earliest moments, as blissful pads are joined by a poignant, recurring low-pitched vocal effect, as well as the distant voices of (joyful) young children. A deep groove penetrates the soundscape and slowly crescendoes, as the gorgeous pad layers continue to envelope the listener. In the main break, as the groove temporarily fades out, an ethereal female vocal stab sequence joins the soundscape, which solidifies this unforgettable composition's status as a deep classic.

Two additional mixes ('A Little Faster' and 'A Little Slower') cater to fans of more upbeat house and chillout, respectively.

In "Pathfinder," a lovely groove is quickly established, including lush pad layers and intricate piano chords. I was doing it for the wrong reasons.  Not entirely for all the wrong reasons, but kind of.  I love the music and what it does for ME and how it makes ME feel and over the last few years, I had forgotten about that.  I was making music hoping that my friends would appreciate it, others would appreciate it. It was the the fucking "social media" conundrum.   I focused on being "liked."  The music had lost its appeal, had lost its innocence and that thing that drove me along with it.  But Thank God I feel "it" again, and I think the reason is because truthfully, I simply don't care.

It isn't about the likes from others.  I care if I like it and if it moves ME.  So here is to no longer being naive, to the realization that those who like it, will simply like it & those that don't, well that's okay too. So Enjoy.

There is no disputing, DJ HELLFYRE has become something very special on the domestic and international dance music scene. In a relatively short time, he has mesmerized and moved audiences worldwide with his spellbinding blends of all genres of house music, Progressive, Deep, Tech, Latin, Tribal, Vocal - nothing is beyond this DJs mixing capabilities. Add to that some Breaks, Electro, and Trance, a great personality and stage presence and voilà, you have one amazingly talented DJ.

A native of Rochester, NY, HELLFYRE has
always been a musical enthusiast. Fostered
by his late mother's extensive vintage vinyl
collection, specifically her love for jazz
artists such as; Ramsey Lewis, Sonny Stitt, Miles Davis, and John Coltrane; these early influences lead him to begin appreciating and collecting all styles of music. In college, he began to amass quite a vinyl record collection that consisted of varied artists, who would later influence what was years later to become, his signature DJ sound. Thanks to his love of music and a fascination with finding that next great track, he has been able to gain success on the radio as well as captivating clubs and lounges around the world.
HELLFYRE has toured and played in many cities all over the United States, Europe, Canada, and China and has also shared billings with DJ greats such as; Paul Van Dyk & Hybrid. Despite a busy travel schedule, HELLFYRE works diligently as President and Owner of Transmission X Soundworks, his EDM dance music label, representing clients such as; The W Hotels, ADIDAS, Red Bull, and the Marcus Stroud Foundation (NFL), while on the DJ side, Transmission X has some of the best new DJ talent nationally and internationally. 

This year, a whole new world of exciting things come for this dynamic DJ. He has just been signed by Divine Bookings International DJ Agency out of Paris, France. This milestone event coupled with an entire slate of new production, DJ mixes, and a few other surprises, hint that HELLFYRE has his sights on becoming a worldwide phenomenon. A myriad of new music and new sounds lie just over the horizon for his fans, and as he continues to make his mark on dance floors and, you know that no matter what the music is that HELLFYRE is spinning, he will lure you in and before you know it, you are entangled in a web of sound that spins you around, makes you move, and does not let you go. He is truly deserving of the title, "The Dark Prince of House Music."
