Alice Lee | A.K.A. "DJ AL"

Hailing from cosmopolitan Singapore, Alice Lee packs a ton of drive and passion in her petite frame. Since discovering and falling in love with Kizomba in 2014, she has been working tirelessly to evangelise the Kizomba music and dance scene in Singapore. Alice has undergone training at DJSenter Singapore, and has achieved beyond what most DJs have in a short time, showing much versatility and impassioned drive. 

As one of the first few Kizomba DJs here in Singapore, she has been constantly and actively  contributing to the kizomba community by sharing her music at socials, parties and festivals in Asia; extensive experience  also came from being invited to DJ at Kizomba Extremo SG 2014-16, SLE2017, Kizomba Infinity-KL 2017, ALFA-KL 2017-2018, Muxima Kizomba Festival-Delhi 2018, KIK Kizomba Festival-Kolkata 2018. The musical style of DJ AL can be described as soulful, melodious and full of depth, transporting you into a world of aspiration and beyond.

A Dj, a poet, songwriter and a lover of music. Making music to send peace, love and joy to those who hear it. Music is the only true universal love language and conduit.

My journey is all about music, connection, and transformation.
Born in a small town in the Astrakhan region (Russia), I grew up surrounded by the sounds of classical music, jazz, The Beatles, ABBA, disco, and later, rock and electronic. Music wasn’t just background—it was my language, my constant. 
Twelve years ago, after a life shift, I stepped into the world of social dance. It started with Bachata, then Salsa… but it was Kizomba that stole my heart.
Today, I bring all my musical passion to the decks—not just in Kizomba, but across Latin rhythms too.
