When you get started and can't stop till it's your day. off

Weekdays

I started Dj in in the mid-90’s after graduating from Specs Howard a friend of my got me into it. Alisa Berry is her name to be exact. I have had a deep love for music since childhood with Mom singing and Dad playing with the saxophone, she being a homemaker and Dad being an Air traffic Controller. This meant I grew up with an eclectic background in music from Jazz, Soul, To Rock and roll. My Dad’s favorite group is Cheap Trick. lol. Not from Detroit, born in Milwaukee WI.

 

I moved around a lot because of my father's Job, but I mostly grew up in Detroit, a product of the Detroit Public School system, “Redford High School to be exact. “Go Huskies.” In High School and College, where I became a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity house music was everywhere and I loved it.

 

I remember after I crossed, we heard my Frat brother Kevin Saunderson drop “Good Life” at an EMU party. I remember the music Institute and still have the flier from the three-day closing! House music has been a mainstay in my life.
