Retro Belgica ft Bailey Tzuke - Uninvited (Bootleg)

I started my DJ career playing music at local parties and club Pepermolen during the early 90's. Things started to get more serious when I became resident DJ in club Tequilas (Westmalle) in 1996. I DJ'ed there for about 2.5 years after which I became the resident DJ in the legendary dance café "Het Perron" (Geel) on Saturday night. This was in 1998. 

During the years 1999 and 2000 I was resident DJ in club Cartouche (Wuustwezel) on Saturdays and also in club Dolce Vita (Essen) on Fridays. The year 2001 was probably the most fun I ever had during my career. I sort of started a pelgrimage, mastering the turntables in lots of clubs throughout the country for just a couple of nights at a time. I played at more clubs, dance café's and parties than I can remember. Those that I do remember are Dixies (Brasschaat), Highstreet (Hoogstraten), Hydrogen (Aalst), Baya (Lichtaart), Postiljon (Lommel), ... etc.

In 2001 I also ended up playing music for a couple of Friday nights at the Place2B in Heist-op-den-Berg, after which I started as a resident DJ on Friday nights. In 2002 I also started a residency at club Escape (Niel). After about a year or so things started to get more difficult to balance the night life with my day job as a professional software engineer. So in 2003 I had to give up my residency in club Escape and I traded Friday nights for Saturday nights in the Place2B.

I was a resident DJ in Place2B until mid 2005 when I decided that enough was enough. Family life and my day job was catching up with me, and turns out that humans need to get some sleep as well in order to function properly (who knew?). So after an eventful career of about 12 years it was time for me to start a new chapter.

After all those years, I still very much enjoy spending time mastering the decks and the smell of vinyl records. I picked up DJ-ing again in 2015, but only for fun. In 2019 and early 2020, I also did a couple of public DJ sets at club Missing Link (Westmalle).
