This an old tape I found a few weeks ago, recorded back on the 30th May 1998. This was not really a set, more of a freestyle mix to test out some promo tracks and new releases I'd been sent - sounds like I just received the mother load from Goodlooking including tracks from 360 and Looking Good; plus some Jonny L (XL) and Metalheadz. I added in a few tracks to improve the flow of the set from 94-98 and a couple of unreleased MC Conrad remixes (2012) copied out of a couple of Makoto sets. You can find the Makoto sets in my "LTJ..." playlist or check out Makoto's sound cloud page (Makoto Human Elements 5th Anniversary Mix & Makoto Dec2012 DnB mix). These are unreleased remixes, believe me I tried to find somewhere I could buy them and even contacted Utah Jazz (Money's One Thing) but these remixes were never released... I kept Makoto's mix into and out of Golden Girl as those mixes are perfect and the tracks worked so well with my original set - I didn't use much of the other tracks, just enough to mix in and out. I put this together using Traktor. This set brings back memories of some of the happiest days of my life, i.e. when I got on GL's, Metalheadz, etc. mailing lists - I used to review tracks for some magazines back in the day and had a pirate radio show.

As always, all props to the artists, producers n engineers that made these tracks. I listed the ones I know, if anyone can help ID tracks it will be much appreciated.

I was a working DJ/producer 1996-2001 (UK). Lover of electronic music since 1990. I use this site to share some of my mix tapes and the best mixes from other DJs that I've accumulated over the years. This is purely for entertainment, sharing and promoting good music.

I did produce some tracks back in 1998-2000 but only released a couple of EPs with DJ Relay under the names Low Profile & Two-Step2. We are getting back into production again as of 2020 and will be re-releasing some of our old and new tracks going forward, find our tracks on Juno, Beatport, Amazon, etc.
