MAN! Just found both you short remixes on youtube and followed the link you provided to here. I bought the two CD set when it came out, loaned it to a co-worker and never saw him again. He had neglected to tell me it was his last day (Grrrr) I saw a used copy on Amazon a few years ago for $60+ and couldn't swing it. Thanks so much for posting this, I've been listening and it sure brings back memories!

About the CD:
I was always aware of Bukem, another DJ who managed to make underground rumblings to the listeners of the British dance scene without  us seemingly knowing who they even were... we just knew about them anyway.  immediately fell in love with this CD once Makoto's 'Inside Your Love' rolled in with MC Conrad's silky smooth mc'ing riding over the top. I'd always loved drum and bass from a distance, but from hearing that track... I was forever a massive fan. I bought into the Good Looking label, bought alot of old releases, all the mix cd's and then fell in love with Bukem's downtempo sister label 'Cookin Records'. This influence was one of the main sounds of my early vinyl days and has gone on to educate and delight for another decade and more. Play it loud, ride the groove, feel the bass. BUKEM!

The first 60m is Blame's set (it's a 60m CD), I copied this to cassette (90m) years ago, then I added another couple of tracks on the end - so the last 43m of the set is my mixing (hence no MC's) - I no longer have the CD so had to copy from tape and thought I may as well leave my bit on the end.

This is logical, this is a progression... The original and still one of the best sets around, LTJ's about to touch down. After much confusion I finally found the original 1996 version of LTJ's seminal Logical Progression 2 CD release. This is the mixed set (CD-B). Intelligent DnB at its finest. This is my (Jo Public) mix of the tracks on CD-A from the original 1996 version of LTJ's Logical Progression (the unmixed CD), I am NOT affiliated with GoodLooking. This mix features 10 of the best intelligent DnB tracks ever made, each track easily stands on its own but I don't like uploading full tracks unmixed - it feels like too much of a copyright infringement - plus I never listen to unmixed tracks - hopefully my mix does 'em justice. I recently found a whole bunch of mixes I did between 1992 and 1997 and started the long process of ripping the cassettes to mp3.
As I work through them in no particular order I’ll put them up here for download.
Remember the sound quality isn’t great as they were all recorded through a mixer with no EQ and committed to cassette on a shabby home stereo…But what the hell, it’s that authentic 90s sound through and through.

Blu Mar Ten - From the Vaults Vol 4 - Drum & Bass Mix - 1996

I was a working DJ/producer 1996-2001 (UK). Lover of electronic music since 1990. I use this site to share some of my mix tapes and the best mixes from other DJs that I've accumulated over the years. This is purely for entertainment, sharing and promoting good music.

I did produce some tracks back in 1998-2000 but only released a couple of EPs with DJ Relay under the names Low Profile & Two-Step2. We are getting back into production again as of 2020 and will be re-releasing some of our old and new tracks going forward, find our tracks on Juno, Beatport, Amazon, etc.
