Kevin Rebellious has been in the Dance/Club Industry since 1986...Started dancing and rapping at school concerts and the Rock Concerts of the Helping Hands Youth Group from Chatsworth during the days of apartheid. Rebellious has played at most of the clubs in South Africa in the early 90's after winning the Natal Groove Title in the S.A Battle of The DJ's. He was national finalist 3 Times and runner up. He won his first Regionall DJ title when he was just 17 . Kevin became a household name playing at venues across the country like Dancers (JHB) Pink Cadillac, Arena (CPT) Palladium (DBN) Creations, Silver Slipper, Zoom, Embassy, Liquid, Bellagio, Vacca Matta , Stringfellas. After winning the East Coast Radio DJ Title in 2000 , Kevin presented his very own radio mix show on East Coast Radio with his focus on giving club dj's from KZN much needed exposure by allowing them a 1 hour slot of pure mixing. His career came to an abrupt end on ECR for some silly reason. Kevin took a break from 2006 to 2011 and made a comeback to Nightlife and the Club scene in August 2011 @ Bellagio. Kevin's style is different from other DJ's and has not lost any of the rebelliousness in terms of the music styles he plays...Its all about the music. Rebellious was known for making Hip hop and rnb hits popular by making sure he got the music first and played it first...Kevin never repeats sets and does not prepare before he plays. He believes that if you play from the heart and you are good enough...people on the floor or listening on the radio will feel the vibe, even if you set is music they have never heard before. Its been 22 years from cassette decks, to Technics 1200's, Denon and Gemini and then Pioneer CDJ's to now using a Pioneer controller, Kevin's M.O  is to entertain and be a leader in dance/club music. Kevin Rebellious is an award winning DJ that has survived all the technological changes in the industry and still delivers hundreds of jams way before others even get their hands on it...When it comes to the style he plays...Kevin is a Real DJ...He can Play anything...No repeats...any age group, any race, anywhere in the world.
