Live Set (All Original) - Starwater Collective, Boulder CO - 2:6:15

This was a set I created for Tropical's 16th anniversary campout in 2014 held at a yoga retreat center in California. Most of the weekend's music was house music, but there was a block of ambient-into-downtempo on Saturday morning. Starts off ambient and rises into danceable trip hop & downtempo.

The recording of my set had technical issues, so this is a recreation in my studio. Mastered by @EasternSun

Champagne And Red Wine

Treavor Moontribe of Desert Dwellers played a nearly 6 hour set recently at Moontribe Collective's 22 Year Anniversary! It was the closing set of a 2 day event that started Sunday night and ended Tuesday evening to align with June's full moon. The set started around 2pm Tuesday and took place in a magical location in the high desert of California. It spans many genres, going on a full journey of audio bliss!!! Enjoy!

March Moontribe Full Moon gatherings are my favorite ones of the year. The weather is turning and people come out in celebration. At this particular gathering, as I began my closing set, the wind kicked up quite a bit and created a somewhat challenging environment in which to operate my gear, but thanks to the support of our community I persevered. This is most of the recording from that set, trimmed a bit to fit 2 hours.

Moon Mambo

After years as a back room musical connoisseur known for recommending hand-selected tracks to her friends, Maggie finally decided to share her musical tastes with the Los Angeles underground at large in 2005.

Since then she’s played her unique mix of psychill, dubby grooves and downtempo at various venues across Southern California, from Moonshadows in Malibu to Zanzibar in Santa Monica to pristine desert and mountain locations, alternately inciting dancefloors to gentle rump-shaking as well as thoughtful swaying and cocktail sipping.

A master of sure and sassy tempos, Maggie prides herself on her meticulous track selection, and looks forward to each set she plays as an opportunity to connect and activate the listener through the universal language of music.

This set is a live recording from the Lotus Full Moon Campout 2012, hosted by Tropical and Terrakroma. Maggie played the only downtempo set of the entire party, midday in the middle of the party while a yoga class was conducted nearby. The yoga instructor, Sean Johnstone, and Maggie conferred on the energy and aesthetic of the playlist. Mellow beats and a hint of world groove.

DJ Maggie carefully curates the best of downtempo electronic into lush, playful and deeply replenishing sets that invite listeners on shimmering audio odysseys. Whether leading flights to the depth of the heart or the outer dimensions of the cosmos, Maggie pilots music masterfully as a multi-dimensional tool—for joy enhancement, energy boosting, community building, a safe space for retreat, a salve for helping heal pain, or a focus-enhancing medium to optimize creativity or productivity.

Evolving her own brand of intuitive sound at the legendary Southern California desert gatherings of the groundbreaking Moontribe Collective and other conscious parties and festivals, Maggie soon established a reputation for her heart-expanding sonic rides. This eventually propelled her into the path of her current collaborations with esteemed downtempo artist and producer, Bluetech (Evan Bartholomew) and their labels Behind the Sky and  Over the Moon. Her first compilation, a 2xLP entitled ‘Matters of the Heart,’ was released in June 2021 on Behind The Sky, and she began releasing through Over the Moon in October 2021.
