MACY presents: Keep Your Love

Music producer and artist MACY i back on the scene with a fantastic new release: “Keep Your Love.” This release serves as a really striking introduction of MACY’s unique style, which on this track explores progressive house elements, with an organic touch. The song kicks off with a subtle and understated beat, adorned with lush synth parts. I love the thin, snappy sound of the snare and how it lets the other elements in the mix have more room, especially the melodic parts, which remind me a bit of instruments such as Kalimbas or Marimbas, but with some tasteful echo effects. The beat later acquires a busier pattern, which some killer 16th note hi-hats, adding a sense of flow and urgency to the mix, that feels like a spark for the progressive elements in this arrangement. Like all of the other productions by MACY, this one is all about great quality standards, offering a crisp, immersive sound that values melody and groove in equal doses. This one is highly recommended if you enjoy progressive house with an organic vibe.

Sébastien Jouas is a versatile and talented artist, active in several disciplines of music and business. Born in the 70s, he was nurtured by the emergence of techno music in France, which led him to quickly immerse himself in rave culture. He quickly developed a passion for electronic music and started experimenting with different styles and techniques, from acid house to hardcore.

Alongside his musical career, Sébastien Jouas has also developed his marketing and business skills. He has worked in companies in various sectors, such as the pharmaceutical industry and telecoms, where he was able to gain experience in sales, negotiation and project management.

These skills have become essential for the development of his artistic career. Indeed, Sébastien Jouas has created his own company: VoiceOver DJ Ltd, specializing in the creation of tailor-made audiovisual content for companies, clubs and festivals. He also mixes for private parties and corporate events.

Music for Sébastien is a real hobby. He makes it a point of honor to perfect his techniques and his musical approach through quality mixes, production and the evolution of aesthetic shots. Its goal is to push the boundaries of the genre and offer innovative and captivating sets to audiences alike.

Sébastien Jouas is therefore a complete artist, with a diversified and fascinating career. His expertise and his artistic and commercial creativity make him one of the most promising artists in his field.

As a  DJ Manjit was involved in the London club scene for two decades, starting when the underground  scene was at it’s peak. 

In 2012 he set up psytrance audio/visual act Beat Pushers and released his first EP, Piccadilly Circus.

Today Manjit is producing his own tracks and releasing them through various record labels such as BABA, Pan Music Records, Global Techno Alliance, Eternity Sounds, RevKon Records and of course through Audiobrain Productions.

Unfortunately now Manjit’s RA reached a level which meant he could no longer DJ. Unable to continue with his passion for playing music to a live audience Manjit now directs his energy into creating music in his studio. So now, through Audiobrain, Manjit releases his free downloads and EP’s and also through various other labels while he continues to battle with his pain. Despite the issues caused by his health he has  a passionate motivation for the genre of electronic music and is continuously extending his knowledge and skills in this area. He is interested in supporting others with their projects as long as they are able to keep an open mind regarding how his health can affect him day to day.
