After their „Picture“ release on Diynamic, Irish duo Disfreq bring their signature sound back to the label with a four-tracker EP titled „Lights“.
Title track „Lights“ is an ode to hazy evenings spent in pulsating clubs and the beauty of the embrace your head gets from the bass.
Get in the rush with „Later“, a high-octane pursuit of acid-techno that’s as explosive as crashing your race car into a gas station.
„Q“ is a Disfreq rendition the 1982 hit „The Voice of Q“ - a perfect blend of the original’s retro charm and elements of Disfreq’s modern rave aesthetic.
And closing off the „Lights“ EP is „U and I“, a driving but melancholic, almost ethereal track that makes you close your eyes and reminisce of lovers past.

They have landed to our imprint with a stunning Single called "Seventh Day" full of melodic-synth perspective which is melting with the techno-based sounds.  "Seventh Day" is composed by a diversity of sounds that helps us activate a state of consciousness with a continuous and mesmerizing groove, in which an initially dark and shadowy atmosphere slowly transmutes into a bright dawn. The music tells us a story that begins with an engaging melody guiding our ears through a mysterious atmosphere, in which rhythmic elements are progressively presented until we reach a small break, giving us the feeling that something extraordinary will happen, then when our guiding melody suddenly disappears and darkness takes over our horizon, organic percussions and dark drones sneaky carry us to the climax of our experience. The result is just majestic.
