British streetwear brand Aerosoul has been bridging the worlds of fashion and music for well over a decade. Initially conceived back in
1998, founder Leke Adesoye (who trained at the London College of Fashion) drew inspiration from the thriving  jungle,hip-hop, soul and breakbeat scenes in his home city of London to create a brand that has remained synonymous with urban music and its vibrant sub cultures ever since.  As a drum & bass and hip-hop DJ  fanatic, Leke sought to intertwine his passions for music and fashion by capturing the energy of the music. And  then designing original and desirable urban clothing - such as the now-iconic ‘Junglist Movement’ t-shirt. Out of humble beginnings, Aerosoul has since blossomed from a UK club-scene favourite into an internationally recognised brand, worn with pride by the very biggest names in urban music and beyond, From the very start, Leke has had little trouble recruiting both genuine legends and fast-rising stars from the realms of  the underground and urban music scenes to represent the Aerosoul brand. Among those who’have modelled and  been seen with an Aerosoul design emblazoned across their chests are the likes of D-Double-E, Roots Manuva, Natty, Bryan G, MistaJam, Ricky Haywood-williams, Omar, MJ Cole, A Guy Called Gerald, Paradox, DJ Die, Skinnyman, A.I,  Normski, Ian Wright , Zion I, Robert Owens, TY,  Leon Best,  General Levy, Mutt, Domu, Lynx & Kemo, Doc Brown , Dot Rotten , Ed Sheeran and Rodney P. Plus many more. Aerosoul is perhaps most famous for the near-ubiquitous ‘Junglist Movement’ design, as featured in the film Human Traffic  back in 1999 and still going strong today.

For Paul David, being born in Scotland and emigrating to Windsor, Canada has certain advantages if you are an electronic music producer.

First, Windsor has the unique feature of being situated just two minutes by car from Detroit, Michigan, the city where one of electronic music's most important movements began and the sounds of seminal techno music broadcast from Detroit radio stations were easily received by those who lived in Windsor.

Meanwhile, Paul David's cousin back in Scotland was sending him a steady stream of mixtapes from the rich UK underground music scene.

Moving to Toronto after university, Paul began to release electronic music under the name Sudden and performing as a Live PA which led to him opening for techno legends Orbital and invitations to play at festivals like Detroit's Movement from Carl Craig, WEMF and Toronto's Edgefest, where he mixed beats to a huge crowd of astonished Nickleback fans. 

Later, Paul released two albums of 8-bit electronic music under the name "Le Bus"; stripped down songs with abstract yet catchy vocals. One of the albums CBC Radio declared "..could easily be one of the best electronic albums of the year!". This project made massive impact on Canadian college radio, gaining top tens in most Canadian cities.

Then, Paul David turned his attention to producing House and EDM, but always with one foot in his musical roots. It was then, along with fellow Toronto producer Barletta, that Paul co-founded the Burner Records label.

With releases on Cr2, Pukka Up and his own Burner Records, Paul's original productions and remixes have turned heads in the global dance music scene, receiving enthusiastic support from outlets such as Mixmag, the DMC Buzzchart, Earmilk, Hypemachine and world-renowned DJ's like Chuckie, Sebastian Ingrosso, Carl Craig, Sander Kleinenberg, Markus Schulz and BBC Radio 1 Dj Kissy Sell Out as well as numerous Beatport chartings.
