A 3+ hour live DJ set I played at the magical AUM center in Koh PhaNgan, March 2021.

I love weaving devotional, sacred, and shamanic music from various cultures and traditions - Ayahuasca, indian/hindu, Buddhist, Yuruba/Orisha, and others.
There's also a cute cat dropping by to say "Namaste".

OSH was created for producers, DJane's and Sonic Alchemists who want to turn the dancefloor into a ceremonial space and enchant the crowd with high vibrational sounds that reflect the beauty of nature. The Ableton template contains loops and samples that are organized in groups  and mixed with ableton stock plugins to sound amazing right of the box. You can start right away to jam and improvise with the template to get inspired for your new track or Live Performance. It's easy to find loops that work together because they are all in the same key and tempo. (Harmonic and melodic loops are all in the same key (Eminor) and the tempo is 120 BPM)

The non-ableton users can still enjoy the magic of the loops and insert them into their favourite DAW or DJ-Software. (LOOP-PACK WILL COME SOON, STAY TUNED)

This is my first online live-streamed ecstatic dance. I play epic tracks supported by live instruments, my voice and weird sounds coming from an alien somewhere deep down in the universe.

This was one of my favorite sets from the summer. We started with a simple cacao ceremony to set intention and open the container for a deep dive inside. The set starts slow and builds to ecstatic moments joined by a full range of live collaboration, all improvised in the moment. Thank you to Dreamersland Festival for setting the stage for this magical experience.

Calling Earth

Water is of major importance to all living things; in some organisms, up to 90% of their body weight comes from water. Water is sacred. We are all born in water. We have an obligation to take care of it. 

This 5Rhythms® Wave is dedicated to the waters within and the waters around us. Water speaks to each other. Love and give gratitude to your own fluid body and send a prayer to a lake, river or ocean that you care about in this dance.

Martin, aka DJ Merlin the Alchemist, loves facilitating Ecstatic Dance Journeys. His special ingredient is creating a sacred space for transformation. Furthermore, he adds spoken invocations, supportive live instruments, and his alien voice. Whenever possible, he closes the dance with a live Gong Sound Journey. The Gong for him was "love at first listen." (Check out his "Gong Meditations for Sleep" Playlist)

Years ago, he started with sound healing facilitation and, over time, also added Ecstatic Dance as a powerful modality. With all his experience from the former, he learned that holding space is his most crucial ingredient. We can only drop out of the mind and into ecstasy when we feel safe. Thus, he values all guidelines for ecstatic dance. No drugs, no shoes, no talking, no phones, and deep respect for everyone else are a time-tested recipe for unforgettable and embodied Ecstatic Dance journeys.
